Hi there! I like to think I play Awilix pretty well and since season 3 has rolled in I wanted to share my new Awilix build with people who have none. This is my first SmiteFire build so advice would be helpful!!!
This is based on power, penetration, and attack speed and so far I've been very successful with this build and I hope others can be too!
Start
"Always be prepared!"
Bumba's Mask- Great for the damage, mana and healing.
Boots- Extra mobility
Potions for sustain
Core
"Time to shine Suku!"
Warrior Tabi- Early damage and movement speed is a must for camp rotations
Jotunn's Wrath- Season 3 nerfs couldn't kill it. Power, penetration, mana, and sweet sweet cooldown is just good for early game.
Executioner- Great attack speed bonus, a little more power and some good penetration. Very cost effective too. This beats out Titan's Bane because even though it gives an overall lesser power boost against tanks, the attack speed in the core it vital to all the build choices.
Frenzy- Getting this relic off the bat really helps for early ganks and since Awilix doesn't need wrath this relic gives a great boost for the early game. Even late game it helps in team fights and objective clearing.
(From here on out are the last three item options, get them after the core. They are all situational too so be wary!)
Offensive Options
Passive:Initiative- This is a great passive, especially if you're sneaky and using Suku to leap into a gank.
Summon Suku- I love this ability because you can use it as a means of quick rotations and pursuit as well as its ability to start a gank with a little damage burst.
Feather Step- It roots them and does a good deal of damage. Great in team fights if you use it correctly and enemies attempting to escape.
Moonlight Charge- I don't see a good purpose for this skill aside from halting enemy escapes and combining it with your ult for great results. Don't use it as just a damaging ability because it will fail you then. This is a skill shot too so be very precise on when/where you use it.
Gravity Surge- Using this on enemies like Neith who try to jump away or those who leap at you is just too funny. You can also use moonlight then this for a good way to pull enemies away in team fights.
Pros
- You deal damage and can shred tank solos and supports.
- Amazing mobility
- Really hard for enemies to get away
- Helpful in team fights
- Good early game
- Good camp clearing
Cons
- Can be Squishy
- Cant solo GF or FG easily
- Moonlight is such a skill shot
- One misclick can equal death
- Midgame is pretty bad
- Need to hold until late game for a renewed awesomeness.
First get the mana camp and xp boars with the solo, then go get one mid camp and while the mid clears the wave you get the three fire minions and then go get the last mid camp. Help the mid clear the wave then get the backs (At least one with the mid) and now start your rotations. Be very careful to not focus on only ganks, your team needs those buff and you will fall behind without clearing them all. Mids, damage and mana buffs are your priority. Always gank from behind them, if they see you they can figure something out easier but being sneaky is great for Awilix. Keep a solid rotation going and the lane you should be visiting the least is the duo, unless they always have easy ganks in which case go ahead and gank. Later game you can help in team fights, steal their camps (although if you can early game anti-jungle that would be pretty nice too), split push or help with objectives. Just dont go in head first to any sort of fight.
Lane fights
Just don't go in head first and die in a team fight, it's a really bad idea. Your best bet in a lane team fight is to chill in the jungle and use Moonlight Charge to knock up their mage or if you're feeling it, their ADC and then ult to pull them in for a quick kill. If you miss you can always pick off retreating enemies with Suku. Another good idea for lane fights if you exhaust your options is the very risky hit and run. Just run around the fight then come from behind, Suku leap some one and use the AOE Feather Step to stun and bring damage then get out. You need to be very precise with this or you will be targeted and die.
Jungle Fights
This is just an easier fight for you with all the extra paths and such. Use them to your advantage and do what you would do in a lane fight but just better. It's the jungle, be sneaky.
I'm just gunna put this here for the sake of someone who is re-checking.
1st Change: Added better description for executioner and fixed some typos.
