Although Fenrir is an assassin, he can be built like a warrior. With this build, Fenrir will not be killing enemy Gods as quickly as he usually does, but he will be tanky enough to stay in fights, and bully enemy Gods.
STARTER
With this build, I start things off by getting Mark of the Vanguard, tier 1 Boots, and about 2-3 Multipotions with Wards(2 Wards in Joust, 1 Ward in Clash, & no Wards in Arena).
CORE
After you get your Warrior Tabi, you can get Hide of the Urchin first, or Jotunn's Wrath first. But do get them both. I personally think Hide of the Urchin is a great item to get early because of it's passive, and Jotunn's Wrath is such a great item to have early too thanks to it's damage, mana, & cdr.
DAMAGE
Since Fenrir's Seething Howl provides him with some lifesteal, Asi is a good item to get since it gives attack speed & even more lifesteal, allowing Fenrir to box & stay around longer. Void Shield gives you more power & physical protection along with an Aura to help you and your teammates takedown tanky enemy Gods. Stone Cutting Sword helps by making you more tanky & enemies less tanky thanks to it's passive. Frostbound Hammer provides you with more HP and slows down enemies, making it easier for your teammates to gank them. Bloodforge gives a lot of power, and lifesteal(which goes great with Fenrir's Seething Howl). I recommend getting this item lategame or if you're ahead & getting a lot of kills.
DEFENSIVE
If your opponents are doing a lot of physical damage, Breastplate of Valor is a great item to get. It also gives cdr, and a lot of mana(which is nice to have). Bulwark of Hope gives magical protection, health, ccr, and has a great passive that will save you in many situations. Although Mantle of Discord is expensive, it gives a lot of protections, and like Bulwark of Hope, it has a passive that will active if you take damage and are below 30% health. Winged blade is great for when the enemy has a lot of Gods that can slow you, since Fenrir doesn't do well against enemies with slows.
RELICS
Curse will slow enemies, and counter their healing. Meditation will heal you, and your teammates. Purification can get you out of cc. Sanctuary will keep you alive for abit. Blink will allow you to pop behind the enemy team so you can use your ultimate to snatch anyone you want. And when you're up in somebody's face attacking them,Thorns will damage the enemy if they try to fight back.
Unchained(1)
I mostly use Fenrir's for the stun when it has full runes or to escape, which is why I do not upgrade it until later in the match.
Seething Howl(2)
Most people would upgrade this ability after they're done with Fenrir's 1 or 3, but since we are not going to be obliterating enemies with his 3, you would want to upgrade his 2 for the lifesteal to last longer.
Brutalize(3)
You can chase people with this, and finish them off too. Even though this build is not full damage, it still hurts a lot! I recommend upgrading this first.
Ragnarok(4/ult)
You go in. You snatch someone. You bring them to your team. Then you use your 3 to brutalize them(if they are still alive). But if you have 4 runes after you've used your ult, you can get one basic attack on them, then stun them with your full rune 1.
Play warrior Fenrir as you would play any other (real) warrior. You can use your 1 to initiate fights or harass the enemy's backline. Be careful of enemies with slows & cripples such as Poseidon, Ares, etc... Also Wards save lives, remember that!
Let me know what you think of this build! :)
