This is my personal Tyr guide, showing what items I find useful (For Arena). Note that this is going to be explaining how I personally play, and not what everyone should play with Tyr.
This is what you are going to do to make the fatal pushes that Tyr is well known for. His skill combo is 1 + 2 (On offense/red mode). If you can grab anyone, make sure you try to push them to your team, however if they should die from the push, try to push them without jumping into a tower or high AOE damage.
As Tyr, your #2 is very important. The reason it is leveled first is because of the heal that it gives. At max level, you can heal 105 per person hit, and double on the first one hit. That means if you hit 2 people, that's 210 for the first hit + 105, making you heal for 315, which is extremely important to survivability. If you're trying to escape a risky situation, you can either ult, or you can 2 + 1 to heal and dash away from the enemy (In Defensive/Blue mode.) Sometimes, it is useful to save your ult if you do encounter gods such as Ares or Hades who can pull you into them with their High-CC ults. It's good to not buy the Purification relic if you can manage your ult, but once you start doing it, beware the blink from Ares or Hades. If they see you use it, they might charge you, especially if you're setting up everything.
Remember: If you want to push someone, be in RED mode. It does no good to blink behind someone, then dash right through them.
Pros:
This god is really good ONLY if you have a good team. Without a team, your time is going to be very hard. But if you have a good team, congratulations! You are going to have some fun. So here's my personal move with this one: At the start of the game, move to your buff camps, clear them, and if you're invaded in your camp, use your blink and push the enemy to your team. Hopefully, if they have any stuns or roots, they can use those while everyone beats them to death. Alternatively, if no one invades, go to middle with your team and wait for the enemies to finish clearing their camps (Or if you feel cruel, you could always blink in and push them out to try and steal, dunno. Just made sure you swap and heal + dash [2 + 1] in Defense mode.) If the enemys come out on the end of the lane towards your base, blink towards there side, preferably behind them, and push them to your team. Again, hope for roots and aoe, focus squishies, that kind of thing. Remember, Tyr requires good teamwork to be especially useful in groups. You cannot expect to 1v3 and kill all of them, you're not a high damage god early game. You might be able to win a 1v2 later, but that's a maybe. Make sure to wait for teammates when possible, unless pushing the Siege Minion into the enemy portal. Remember: Living is more important than dying pushing the minion, especially if it might die mid-push. Do not feed for the minion. But the biggest thing for Tyr, is to help your team out. Ult behind that group of squishies, or blink, make sure you push them to your team. You can make a game turn around quick that way, as long as you're careful not to be stunned.
Tyr is a really strong supportive kind of god, very useful to have especially with high damage such as a Loki or Scylla. This guide explains my personal methods and build, but know these aren't the only methods. Make sure to check the comments section to see if anyone else posts a method that is very good for certain situations, or in general, and make sure to have fun. Enjoy!
