Introduction

Tyr "the lawgiver" is a norse god and is a melee brwaler.
This build is made for the jungling role, the main focus of the build is to be able to burst down your enemy before they get time to react by using your cc.
In my view Tyr is best as a jungler due to his superb ganking potential. This is just my initial thoughts of a build for him and I had a hour free time so I just wrote a simple guide for it. I'll just touch on the most basic stuff for now at least, if people like it I'll let it stay published and maybe add some more stuff as well.

About Tyrs skill set and how to use it

Unyielding (Passive)

Stuns, Taunts, Fears, and Mesmerize cannot affect Tyr for longer than 1s. This is very good lategame when stuns are maxed out to last for longer, but early game most stuns only last for about 1 sec anyways so it doesn't help you that much eralygame (except vs gods like Ymir etc, who has stuns as their main tool).
Tyr also got a chain combo for basic attacks first swing does 1x damage, second swing does 0,5x damage and the third and final swing in the chain does 1,5x damage.

Fearless

I would max this first because it is your main source of damage, it is great for clearing jungle camps and combined with Power Cleave it makes for devastating ganks. The way the skill works is that you dash forward and hit a target pushing them along your path while knocking them up and hitting them twice (in Assault stance), but to be able to get of two hits you need to be pretty close to you target. The damage on this ability is pretty OP atm (guessing it will be nerfed). In guard stance it works kind of like Vamanas Clear The Path, knocking everyone you dash through up in the air.

Power Cleave

I would put one point in it at lvl 2 and max it last, because the main use of this ability is to knock enemies out of position while they are knocked up in the air by Fearless. The the ability works is that it does damage in a cone in front of you. If you are in assault stance you will knock any airborne enemies back and if you are in guard stance it heals you (a bit to much atm) for each enemy hit up to 3.

Change Stance

I would max this second because of the passive benefits you get to power and protection form it and most importantly that the cooldown get faster, so you can reset your other abilities more often. The way it works is that you change to either assault or guard stance, assault gives you more power and guard gives you more protection and they effects your other abilities (just like Hel) and it makes the cooldown on Fearless and Power Cleave refresh.

Lawbringer

This is the slam dunk of dunks and does a good amount of damage at least if you build damage. It is a large aoe target and also has a slow on it, great for aoe damage in teamfights and for gap closing if someone is trying to get away.

Core items

My build is focused on dealing high amounts of damage with mainly your skills not so much basic attacks therefore my core items are mostly penetration items.

Bumba's Mask

Because it is a jungle build clean and simple.

Jotunn's Wrath

For early penetration and for cooldown reduction for Change Stance, so that you are able to reset your abilities more often.

Focused VoidbladeFocused VoidbladeFocused VoidbladeFocused VoidbladeFocused VoidbladeFocused VoidbladeFocused Voidblade

More penetration and the protection helps you out to sustain in the jungle.

Titan's Bane

More penetration to help with the damage on your abilities.

Jungleing

You start with one point in Fearless and then one point in Power Cleave, get red buff for yourself (after mid furies). If you are on low health because of some mishaps in the jungle take one point in Change Stance so that you can heal with Power Cleave.
After that you just use assault stance when clearing camps and guard stance if you are struggling with sustain. Be careful so that you hit all the creeps with Fearless when doing camps.

Ganking

Always gank in assault stance and try to get in from behind. You start with Fearless to push the enemy out of position (hopefully into your teammates warm embrace) then you use Power Cleave while the enemy is airborne to knock him back even farther. Follow up with basic attacks and with the help of your teammate that should be enough to secure the kill, if not you can either use Lawbringer to chase the enemy or switch stance to reset your cooldowns and dash after the enemy.

Actives

Because of your passive, you don't really need Purification Beads, which makes you able to chose from a lot of different actives.

I would strongly recommend going with Eye of Providence so that you can ward a lot while on your jungle rout.

Restoration Shard to make you even more unkillable.

Aegis Amulet is still pretty needed if the enemy team has some abilities with high burst damage.

Creeping Curse will make it impossible for even Poseidon to escape you.

Hand of the Gods to help your jungleing and for securing objectives like Gold Fury etc.

Girdle of Inner Power for more damage and penetration.

Situational items

Situational items would be switched out with either the Deathbringer or the Runic Shield.

If enemies keep escaping you buy Frostbound Hammer, if you want more lifesteal buy Eye Of Retaliation, buy Heartseeker if you are confidant and want to snowball, go for Qin's Blades if you want to get more out of your chain attacks, if the enemy team is heavy on physical damage go with Sovereignty, Bulwark of Hope if they are magical damage heavy and Runic Shield if your just having trouble against a magic carry.

Summary

As I said, this is just a very basic guide/build for Tyr (I haven't even tried it out myself).

But I hope it can help you to at least get some idea about how to jungle with him and hopefully it is a pretty decent build.

glhf!

I can now say that it actually works, after a few matches with him I'm at 5,4-1,4-4,4 with a 80% winrate (noted that's only on 5 matches played all casual queue).
