Im making a revision to this guide seeing how I've been having much more success at tyr jungle then I have been solo. Keep in mind, you can still build tyr tanky in the solo lane to go for that unkillable build, however because of his "In your face" ability damage, and high crowd control, I feel like these qualities make him a powerful jungler, just lacking mobility is all.
Fearless
This is the ability you max 2nd. Sometimes when you fearless you dont always land both hits. It depends on the distance away from you they are. Its also your getaway ability when you switch stance, so its better to have your power on your cleave for damage as well as heal to continue fighting.
Power Cleave
This is the ability you rank and max 1st. Rank first because fearlessing buff camps at level one can mess up your partner's auto attacks, and maxing because saving tyrs 1 as his escape uses less mana and Power Cleave does decent damage on its own.
Change Stance
This is the ability you max 3rd. It gives you power, protections, and cooldowns you let you change stance quicker. This is overall much more important than levelling your ult, since really you only treat your ult as a second blink to get in position, not really for the damage.
Lawbringer
Put one point into this at level 5, then forget about it until you are level 16 or so. Its only used for cc immunity or to jump over walls as mentioned earlier.
Warrior Tabi
These boots allow you to clear better, rotate lanes faster, as well a chase or run from enemies. Standard jungle item.
Jotunn's Wrath
The offensive alternative to breatplate, this item gives you better clear, some pen, and cooldown most importantly to jump in, do your damage, then get back out.
Transcendence
This item is what lets you hit like a truck, and keeps you topped off on mana. As a jungler you are looking for burst damage and this is by far the best ability based damage item in the game.
Frostbound Hammer
This item is what allows you to stick people. Made popular by the youtuber, doubletapgaming, he says it 100% necessary. The item gives you health, and keeps people from running away from you. Slowing enemies also makes it easier for you to land your next fearless as well.
Mantle of Discord
Yes this item is expensive, however it gives you everything you need late game. Decent protections of both forms of damage, near max cooldown, and a cc immune shield once you hit 30% health. Its basicaly the best of both world from items like Breastplate of Valor and magi's blessing, just with magic protection instead of health, as well as only taking up 1 item slot.
Titan's Bane
Lets you hit other tanks hard as fuark, is cheap, does more damage to structures.
Hopefully this guide is a bit more clear as Ill be making more adjustments as time goes on. I have been doing wayyyy more better building like this in the jungle then just going for tanky solo, its also more fun in my opinion. Because of tyr's close quarters style, it makes him much more of a beast in the jungle then it does in lane. Hopefully this guide will temp you to give it a shot.
