Introduction

This guide is to get a quick start with Cernunnos and be able to help aid your team with push, or easily carry. This is not a perfect guide and is subject to change, hang in there though as there are some pointers. In this particular build what we are doing is upping is damage output to complement his abilities as you read his skills below, when abilities are on cool down you shred with auto attack dealing sometimes over 1k in damage with crit. The reason for this crit order is following, wind demon adds power, attack speed, and crit chance to your character.

This is the most useful crit item to start with as you can hit more times and faster, that means more chances for crit. There is already a 20% chance per hit, and do not forget about the added physical power this gives. We then come in with deathbringer to add additional physical power, crit chance, and gives 40% more damage when crit does strike. Then finally we we look at Malice, we already have a decent chance of getting crit without this, but this item really seals the deal. It gives more crit chance more power and if you crit it deals +75% of your physical power converted to damage to your opponent.

Looking at the other items they are for building power up for this conversion and listed below on how they aid your skills. At full build you only need 3-6 hits max usually to kill an opponent, the latter is for guardians and heavily protected warriors. Usually you have to worry about hide of the nemean lion, in this case though with bloodforge as long as you secure the kill you will get your health back.

Skills

Cernunnos is a highly over powered god to begin with, mastering his play style though can make any god appear mundane as they cripple and die. First we need to look at his first ability which is a buff that changes his passive the "season", each "season" gives Cernunnos a different but minor change in what his basic attacks does on top of damage. The four seasons you have are Spring Growth which gives you life steal (keep in mind it is a minor amount unless you get an item to complement it.), then you have Summer Heat which adds additional physical damage maxing at 25 + (25% of your total physical power. If you are using the above build, this will most likely be your main "season" if the enemy team is building heavy protection however or your boxing with a guarding, you can change up the game and switch the season to Autumn Decay which debuffs up to 25 physical protection, this means if they have something that covers magic and physical, you just rendered that item useless to you. The final season is Winter Chill, if your enemy keeps taking cheap shots at you and running away you can slow them as this "Season" will cause up to a 15% slow down, there goes their boots eh?

Next we will talk about Bramble Blast which perhaps is the most important skill this god has. On initial impact at full upgrade it deals a whopping 200 physical damage + 75% of physical power so that transcendence you built and that bloodforge means your kicking out 477.5 damage in just items, that is not counting your remaining mana that is in part converted to power via transcendence. If you fire this item right you can also root a person for 1 second, which does not seem like much, but if your trying to escape or you only have one chance to get that kill this can cripple the enemy. If they remain in the area of the Bramble, they also receive 20 + (5% of physical power) in damage, told you he is broken.

Our second to last item is Horn Charge, the way to use horn charge is situational, I always try to conserve it as an escape ability. If there are no nearby enemies however and your boxing this can help you win as at full upgrade it deals 290 + (80% of physical power) in damage. That is even more than the bramble!

Finally last but not least we have our final ability "The Wild Hunt" this ability is an area polymorphic attack. While it appears to do no damage to the titan (I can be mistaken) or to minions, it does do a lot to enemy gods. When they are in range of your ult, they will instantly take up to 400 + (90% of your physical power) in damage and poly-morph into a wild hog where they are silenced and forced to move around. This comes in good use for securing an escaping kill.

Combo posibilities

I will be updating this at a later time, as I ran out of time for the day to write.
