Another key area to focus on when playing Thor is the leveling up of abilities. At the start of the conquest game the first ability you should always get is Berserker Barrage (3). Combined with hand of the gods at the start this is a powerful early game tool to take down camps quickly.
As for leveling up other abilities, I recommend for the first three levels unlocking the first three abilities all at level 1. This way you have a good selection of what you can do so that ganking is made easier. However, if you prefer not to level up you wall (2 ability) I then recommend upgrading your 3 and then getting your 2 as and when.
When it comes to the ultimate I recommend getting it at level 5 straight away. This means that you have the ability to gank long range as well as a secondary escape. Other than getting it at level 5, I would not level it up at all until you absolutely have to as it doesn't give you a longer range - only a slight damage increase. However, because you have upgraded your 3, this takes up the damage lost from not upgrading the ultimate.
When it comes to generally leveling up the abilities I say that you should level up the 1 and 3 simultaneously but make sure the 3 is always one higher as it is easier to hit. Like the ultimate, I say that leveling up the 2 (wall) as and when you have to but more than the ultimate.
Before creating this guide I never used BloodForge in my Thor builds. This is because at the time, it wasn't the best item for me. Instead I used an item called Hydras Lament which, worked extremely well for me - allowing me to rack up large kill streaks etc. However in recent patches, Hydras Lament was nerfed a great deal so I have had to adapt and BloodForge has filled the gap very well.
To be a good jungler requires a lot of time, effort and practice. It takes great skill to be able to master the god that you will be playing in jungle so patience will be a virtue. When playing Thor, the build is key. Without a good build you will not be able to take down camps quickly enough thus risking loosing out on farm and kills. The build that I have shown is a build that works for me however, it may not be for everyone. But, the great thing about my build is that it is adaptable. Items can be easily swapped in and out depending on the situation for example, if they have a very magical based team, you could swap out Bloodforge. One thing to note is that when you have all six items including Bumbas Mask, you can sell the starting item (Bumbas) and replace it with any situatuional item. For example like stated before, if you sell Bloodforge for magical defense you could then buy Bloodforge back...
