Camazotz was the newest assassin introduced into smite in season 3, and Hi-Rez hid a legend behind the terribly sad release. They have added a direct counter to Ao Kuang and Loki. These two potentially punishing gankers can be revealed with Camazotz first ability, but lets get into Camazotz lore first.
Camazotz was the head of a house of bats in ancient Maya. In the myth of "The Twin Brothers," Xbalanque and Hunahpu were forced to sleep in their blow guns inside a house of bats. Curiosity got to Hunahpu, and he looked out of the gun. As he did so, Camazotz swooped down and ripped off his head. Hunahpu later was able to use a gourd as a head.
While maybe not the most descriptive lore I could have written, It certainly shows how Camazotz is as a deity. Lets now hop in to Camazotz passive and abilities.
With Camazotz, you have an infinite number of choices of how you can build. Camazotz is similar to Thor in the fact that you can go bruiser, full damage, or full tank, and still be super reliable. With Camazotz, I would always recommend going Bumba's Mask, T1 Boots, and three of each pot. If you want, you can ward before the game starts with your remaining 100 gold. After your start, you more than likely won't back for a VERY long time if you are playing right. His passive allows for amazing sustain in jungle, so backing is rare. Items that you should go on Camazotz depend on your situation: if you are getting blown up by a mage, build Bulwark. If you are getting blown up by ADC's, build Breastplate. Fighting a jungler with slow clear, rush Trancendence for a power spike. It's all up to you. I would highly recommend using a combination of the items listed above, though.
Camazotz passive is Essence Drinker. This passive gives a plethora of things, ranging from bonus lifesteal, bonus healing gained, and free health and mana regen. The pools that Camazotz get from gods dying on the map can heal him significantly (2% MAX HEALTH/ MANA PER SECOND). If Camazotz gets nuked in a team fight, he can back out, drink some blood, and get back into the fight while the enemy expects him to be in fountain. This allows for some amazing sustain.
Camazotz first ability is Screech. Camazotz releases a line attack that travels through minions and stops on the first god hit. The catch is that if a god is hit, the Screech echos back to Camazotz, and that god is displayed for est. 15 seconds. This makes gods like Loki and Ao Kuang near useless against Camazotz. Also, Camazotz receives an unhealthy amount of damage increase from the echo.
Camazotz second ability is called Vampire Bats. Camazotz releases a line attack that stops on the first enemy hit. The ability does a large amount of impact damage, and then ticks for three seconds afterwards. This heals Camazotz. Also, if this ability is used on a jungle buff camp leader, Camazotz healing and lifesteal is increased by 4%.
Camazotz third ability is Devour. This is a very short leap that heals on impact. Pretty straight forward.
Camazotz ultimate is Bat Out of Hell. Camazotz hovers in the air, damage and CC immune, and has three strikes he can use. This ability allows Camazotz to dive towers early, and effectively escape a sticky situation.
I like Camazotz due to the fact that he can unload his whole kit before most people have time to react. To get the most damage out of a gank, go 1-2-3. This allows your damage buff to buff your Bats and Devour. Follow up with auto attacks and ultimate if need be. His amazing burst allows Camazotz to build semi-tanky, so feel free building Hide of the Urchin or Void Shield if needed. Also, I would never recommend going all damage with at least some defense.

Can see cloaked gods

Able to flex into solo lane
Can dive towers easily
Can comp with near anyone
Versatile build style
Can blow people up even if you build full tank
Great at 1v1's
Cons:
Leap has small range
Abilities are hard to hit at first due to being line attack skillshots
In team fights, he is lackluster.
Lacks tower shred
Weak against very mobile gods

1)Death toll gives way more sustain especially with AoE autos, I can understand the reasoning behind bluestone, but it can at least be mentioned imo.
2)Skill #3 gives way, way more healing that 2, it lets you bully your enemy way better and it's more worth upgrading imo.
