Introduction

Greetings.
You are seeking knowledge... good. You have finally reached the right place... but it won't be for free, keep that in mind.

Did you ever thought of going out in the world without your boots?
Let's pretend you picked the right choice. Smite works the same.





This... nearly flawless (I hope they never nerf it).
Not only it provides the best penetration-power status early on against mages, hunters and assassins targets but it also has 40% healing reduction.
Hidden hint: This also reduces enemy's fountain healing. If you plan to fountain-dive/kill someone this will be your best ally.






The best second item in terms of power, critical chance and utility.
Wind demon's passive helps Mercury so much when it's triggered:

1)Mercury's passive
2)Attack speed buff
3)Movement speed buff
4)Higher probability of catching up with an enemy
5)Higher probability of running from an enemy
6)Better chance of sticking around an enemy
7)Higher chance of dodging/evading/'juking' enemies' abilities/basic hits






This item has seen a nerf that put it in a tough spot but... it's still the best life-stealer (passive active) when you're in danger and not fighting against high-burst gods/goddesses such as:



Fun fact: Asi is Deathbringer's brother
Hiddent hint: Seriously, there's no greater life-steal than Asi with its passive active and Deathbringer around.




The first best item in terms of power, critical chance and utility.
Short story: Whenever Asi was trying to achieve something... he couldn't... because he lacks power and without someone to help him he whispered to himself that he's not going to make it far... until he met Deathbringer. From that very moment they became best friends and made a promise that they will never ever fight enemies alone again. Today, they are know as the majestic duo: ''Asi the Deathbringer''




This has many stats that I like and it's very cheap for what it does:
1)+200 Health = higher survivability/active in lane and fights longer
2)+10% Cooldown = this allows the use of your abilities more often
3)+20% Attack speed = Punch here, punch there, punches everywhere!
4)+10% Movement speed = Triggers Mercury's passive for stronger punches
5)Ritual dagger's passive = Every relic that has a duration effect will last longer, isn't that great?



Alternative items for the 6th slot:

Use 'Winged Blade' when the enemy team has so many slows you feel like a turtle.

You can use the 6th slot however you want so feel free to experiment and tell me what you discovered.
