Introduction

Hello everyone! This is my first guide on here. I hope you enjoy it overall, and can at least get some idea of how to build the God Ravana. You do not have to follow this guide precisely. In fact, I encourage you to make changes based on your playstyle and what you think works best. But without further ado, let's get started.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
-High Single Target Damage
-High Sustain
-Roots
-Slows
-Good Laning Capability
-Shields
-Fast + Easy hit chain

Cons:
-Poor Early Game
-Squishy
-High Mana Cost Early Game

Items

Let's jump right in with items.

Warrior's Tabi - Obvious choice is obvious.

Hide of the Urchin - Magical and Physical protection plus the ability to build stacks for even more protection. In my opinion, a must have item for Ravana.

Jotunn's Wrath - Power, Mana, CDR, and Pen = Everything you want on Ravana

Frostbound Hammer - The hammer offerers extra health for greater sustain when fighting other gods, but the real selling point is the passive. Being able to slow down your enemies and beat them down even longer is a godsend.

Qin's Sais - This item works great on Ravana and adds that extra bit of damage to make you even more threatening on the battlefield.

Soul Eater - The life steal and attack speed on this item are great and the passive grants you greater mobility on the battlefield, as well as another way to keep yourself alive.

Breastplate of Valor - The CDR, physical protections, and mana granted by this item make it a must have if you plan on being tanker.

Bulwark of Hope - The optimal magical protection item with a very nice boost in health, magical protection, and crowd control reduction. The best part however is the passive which grants you a shield that can save you in a pinch. A must buy for tanker builds.

Mantle of Discord - The magical and physical protections on this item are pretty decent and the passive is great for making a getaway, or for possibly turning the tables on your stunned for. Not necessarily my first choice, but definitely not my last.

Mystical Mail - Again, not one of my first choices, but the magical protection and health it gives are good. Plus the passive is decent is you stick to your foe like glue.

Brawler's Beat Stick - Power, penetration, and reduced healing for those hit by your abilities. What's not to love about the Beat Stick?

Asi - The stats on this item are good enough, with the life steal and Pen combo being pretty useful. However, the passive is perfect for someone like Ravana who's going to be up close, personal, and probably taking a lot of damage. Use in place of Soul Eater if you prefer.

The Executioner - A good replacement for the Qin's Sais if you need to save a bit of gold. This item can shave off protections and help you deal a good bit more damage.

Titan's Bane - Kinda obvious. This is always a nice item due to its fantastic penetration and power.

Skills

Chain of Blows - This is a very nice passive and easy to proc. It gives you a nice little shield for landing 8 successful basic attacks or abilities and can stack up to 3 times.

Prana Onslaught - A slowing cone attack with decent damage. Level this up to help scale the slow and damage.

Overhead Kick - A very nice move that grants CC immunity and launches a ball in a straight line. This is a good move to escape danger and can be used to completely avoid a lot of abilities if timed right.

10-Hand Shadow Fist - Very nice straight forward attack that can pass through minions to clear them while also healing you. The best part of this ability, however, is the root that procs when it hits an enemy god.

Mystic Rush - This ultimate works like a leap with a bit of AoE damage to boot. It also has a damage mitigation buff that allows you to inflict more damage to the god that's closest to the center if this ability. Very good way to engage an enemy god and can be used as an escape in a pinch.

Tips

- If you're low and health and a god is chasing you, don't be afraid to turn back and slow them with Prana Onslaught or root them with 10-Hand Shadow Fist. Of course, do not do this if you're dangerously low on health, or if there are multiple gods chasing you.

- If you're having trouble getting kills, try baiting out an enemy god first before rooting them with 10-Hand Shadow Fist. Make it harder for them to run away by also adding Prana Onslaught on them.

- Ravana has amazing single target damage. Capitalize on that. Pick an enemy you want dead and bully them as much as possible in the lane. Add on roots and slows with Prana Onslaught and 10-Hand Shadow Fist.

- Remember to use Overhead Kick to get out of CC abilities and sticky situations. You can even use it to escape Odin's Ring of Spears.

Phases

Early - Ravana is pretty vulnerable during the early game, but he is decent at farming. Focus on that to keep ahead of your opponent so you can out-push them later in the game.

Mid - During this phase, you should start getting more of your defensive items purchased, as well as something like Jotunn's or Frostbound to start doing some damage. This is where Ravana starts to shine, as with his abilities, he's able to out damage other gods and can due amazing work with his slows and stuns. Chances are, this where you're going to be picking up the majority of your kills.

Late - Ravana starts to fall off a bit in the late game, but his power is still decently formidable. By now, you should have most, if not all of your build put together. Just remember that your damage won't be as great as other gods due to having to build some defensive items, even if all you built was Urchin.

Summary

Ravana is an amazing single target damage dealer, and his ability to bully gods one on one in a lane is amazing. His abilities also make it hell for other gods to escape his wrath due to the constant slows and roots. If anything, he's a lot like Osiris with his ability to pressure gods consistently one on one. So remember that you have the power to push enemy gods. Now go out there and let them know who the real king is!

You really dont need lifesteal on Ravana for his first build since he has an immune, a jump, his own heals + shields. You could replace it with more defense or more offense.
