Kali becomes an unstoppable force of destruction, creating a damage aura around her. During this time, she can be reduced to 1 Health, but cannot die. Introduction

Now, you may be thinking this is quite the troll build. But its actually really quite nice.The reason it will work most times is because you see Kali as an assassin and when she jumps on you you really want the easy kill, or run.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Tanky and with ultimate unkillable
quick and easy stun
usually an assassin so nice distraction for team
provides nice distraction for team

Cons

Squishy early like most gods
team reliant
NO DAMAGE

Items and why

Now when starting the game i like to start with a t2 sovereignty gives 200hp and 40 physical protection is a good start. On your 1st back you should finish it this will help you a lot and also your team.

Next i buy reinforced greaves because the cc reduction and hp is very nice
after that you either will go for a heartward or breastplate heartward helps your team, and breastplate will give you some cool downs and physical protection


after that if you went breastplate your probably in need of magical protection unless there AP poses no threat i normally buy a heartward if i went breastplate 1st if i didnt


after that you just need to buy what you need most but some good items that are good to build are ones that give you health and magical or physical resistance. Stone of gaia is very nice item for the hp regen.

The stratagy

play it somewhat safe until your ultimate because you are very easy to kill. When you feel confident that you can jump in and stun and not immediately die then start jumping in to get either an all in team fight or some team poke. Always make sure your team is ready to fight because you are VERY reliant on them to do the damage you simply don't do. if you want to do some very pathetic bleed damage you can get your 2 but, i don't find it to be worth the mana cost.

and remember your kali if someone got away barely and your team wants to tower dive pop your ultimate and tank it.

Summary

All in All it may not be the best tank build to play always but if you want some change in your tank gameplay give this a try and you will have some fun whether it be with friends or pub games it is fun.

Also you can always change these items its just what i prefer to build

As a fellow Kali main, This build is bad, I mean, She's kinda squishy, But Kali Has a TON of sustain in her kit, She Doesn't really need tank items exept magi's blessing and maybe, just maybe Spirit Robe.

Like, You could tank for a long time, But i would really rather have a good Ymir and a full assasin Kali that knows what she's doing, She could reach a pentakill easily,

the breastplate cdr is pretty good, the build could use more. But its hard to get rid of certain items because well she is an assassin and not ment to be a tank. but then again kali wasn't the best unorthodox tank i've done. i just thought this would be something some people would be interested in trying. And to see what people thought of this i was going to make more unorthodox tank builds in the future since i play assassin/mage tanks quite often now.

All I will say is..

*Kali.

Also for a Kali support/tank to be viable, CDR will help A TONNN.

Instead of making a tank, how about a bruiser? OR an offensive aura tank.

Basically use auras that deter the enemy like Witchblade. Ive been wanting to test it out for a bit but maybe you can give a shot.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions.
