Sylvanus throws a seed to a target location. If it hits an enemy they will take damage, lose Protections, and become Rooted. If the seed lands on the ground, after 5s it will grow into a flower providing MP5 to nearby allies. The pod can be destroyed by Basic Attacks (maximum 3 pods), exploding and releasing poisonous spores that reduce Protections of nearby enemies.

Ability Type: Circle, Root, Damage
Damage: 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+50% of your Magical Power)
MP5 Increase: 20

Wisps

2 A
Sylvanus releases wisps that seek out nearby allies and enemies. Allied gods are Protected and all allies are Healed while enemies take damage over time.

The initial wisp heals allied gods and damages enemy gods for twice the normal amount. This ability does not create seed pods when hitting minions.

Ability Type: Target, Heal, Damage
Damage: 14 / 20 / 26 / 32 / 38 (+10% of your Magical Power) every 1s for 5s
Heal: 10 / 14 / 18 / 22 / 26 every 1s for 5s

Introduction

Hi, Im BabyBabu. I have mained support since late season 1. I enjoy playing Sylvanus the most out of any other support, I know hes not really in a good spot meta wise right now, but he's really fun. This is my first guide that I have included some bbCoding and I would like all feedback.

Pros/Cons

    Good CC
    Decently High damage

Countered hard by CC and Anti Heal
    Positioning is CRUCIAL

Items

Core Build

> >
Your core items include cdr, physical protection and magical protection, and mana. You also get a bit of power from the shoes. This can be an optional core and you can really swap out anything except for Breastplate of Valor this item is just to helpful to just pass up. Some other options you can swap out Heartward Amulet for are Bulwark of Hope which you should get over Heartward Amulet if you're really ahead and you have the extra gold. If you are against a healing support like Hel or Aphrodite or even Sylvanus you could go with Pestilence. If you wanted to switch your boots up I would suggest Travelers Shoes but if you really wanted the extra tankiness you could pick up Reinforced Shoes but if would never go with Shoes of the Magi they just don't give you any utility that can be helpful.

4th Item

or
Your fourth item I would suggest going with a multi protection item(one of the cloaks). I suggest these because they all give you multi protections and they have great passives. The reason I didn't put Magi's Blessing there is because the protections it gives just aren't enough. I also didnt put Mantle of Discord and that is because I feel it is just way too expensive for your fourth item and it can be hard to accumulate that gold before the late game. I really recommend going Spirit Robe because it caps of your cooldown reduction. Now the most important thing for Sylvanus is CDR. This can also apply on most supports with high utility like Kumbhakarna or Geb. The reason is because supports don't do as much damage as the others, this is obviously because supports don't build damage and they're normally underlevel. So because they don't do as much damage they can use their abilities more because the cooldowns will be lower.
At max level full CDR Nature's Grasp has a 10 second cooldown but at level 1 no items it has a 20 second cooldown and Wrath of Terra has a 54 second cooldown instead of a 90 second cooldown.

Final Items

For you finishing items I always suggest getting Winged Blade or getting Ritual Dagger. Get Ritual Dagger if you didn't get Spirit Robe so you can get your cooldown maxed. These would be your 5th item and they're both a movement speed item which is great for getting around the map late game.
For your final item I almost always go Mantle of Discord it just gives such great protections and it does have that CDR to cap you out if you went Hide of the Urchin or Winged Blade. Another last item you could consider is Lotus Crown but in pretty much every situation Mantle of Discord is better.

Duo lane partners.

The best gods to partner up with Sylvanus would be gods with CC.
This list is the top 5 hunters that I would choose to go with.
