Notes (Read Please)

I am putting up this build simply for the reason that it has worked for me many times. If you find something wrong with this or dislike it then good for you; however, I am putting this out there to help anyone willing to try this build out or for those who don't know how to do this and don't know how to approach it. This is my build for Sun Wukong Support and I hope it will become yours too.

That being said all tips and suggestions are much appreciated for a Novice Sun Wukong Support player such as myself. I know I will not be right about everything and I will read up on suggestions and educate myself on being a better SWK Support player. This is what works for me so far.

This is a Work In Progress and will be updated frequently.

Early Game

Recently with the Buff to BlueStone Pendent SWK is now somewhat useful again! Which is always a good thing! xD

Basically this Item makes you do that much more burst damage with your abilities. This item is a must on SWK

SWK is really good at poking the enemy ADC/Support or with helping clearing the wave with his Magic Cudgel (1) and Masters Will (2). Just remember to be careful you are not going to be able to take Khepri and Artemis's CC chains at lvl 3 lol.

Core Item Choices

After all SWK is a warrior so you wanna do a decent amount of damage but you are also playing Support so you wanna be able to take shots for your ADC so Void Shield seems to have fit this spot perfectly. Going into a fight and having their Physical Protections reduced by 55 so you and your ADC can do more damage is a very good item.

Although these items are very good on SWK I don't recommend getting all 3 of them first. Look at the Finishes and predetermine which build you wanna go with and get the items in the order that you see fit.

Finishes

Defensive:
This one is the one I personally tend to go with. Due to his Core items listed above you should already be doing a decent amount of damage to the enemy team while also helping your team by lowering their protections; however, struggles with tanking towers.

Bruiser:
This is my second pick if I feel like the enemy team is unorganized or arent really communicating (You can tell by there ganks, rotations, or jungle clear). You are still decently tanky and do a lot of damage and is very fun to play when you're already ahead

Damage:
I almost never use this build while playing support but I do like to use it in Solo but I have tested it and it can work, but it is not easy. You are very bad at taking damage for your team but do tons of damage. It is like having 2 solo laners and no support. It can go very well or very bad..

Pros / Cons

Pros:
-Very Bulky and high damage
-Very good at popping Magis
-Good stun for kill secure
-Good at peeling for team
-Tons of CC

Cons
-High Mana Problems early game
-Very frail early game
-Can get shut down easily

Yes, but as a support, you're not supposed to clear the wave, you're supposed to weaken it so that your adc can get stacks. I'm not sure if The Magic Cudgel can clear minions, but if it can, that's bad.

In addition, I think that FemFatalis was not talking about Jotunn's Wrath in terms of damage, but in terms of it allowing you to cause more disruption through having lower cooldowns on your CC abilities.

First of all : You don't level you The Magic Cudgel first. It does less damage than Master's Will and it has better use of lowering the health from the minion so your ADC can farm a bit.

Second : You aren't forced to talk about Ranked Play. If you don't have experience with it, just don't make a section for it.

Third : You could consider leveling Somersault Cloud last, so it costs less mana, and you have more utility in Teamfights, since you'll be pulling tons of damage.

Fourth : If you think the Third point is right, then put Jotunn's Wrath as a core item.

Fifth : This might not work, since SWK is better with Reinforced Greaves than any other boot

Also, why don't you have a movement speed item in your Core build ?

This guide is, indeed a WIP. I would recommend you getting more info inside the guide itself, before posting it.

I believe almost everything you said to be wrong. Remember, it is supposed to be support. You are right, Master's Will does more damage, but the point is to hit minions and bring them down health, and in that case, The Magic Cudgel does more damage, because of the 25% damage boost on minions. He is built to be a semi-tanky support, not a full bruiser, which is why he doesn't have Jotunn's Wrath as a core item. If you were building a solo SWK, sure, but he is supposed to take hits for the team and cause CC, not do crazy damage.

Your reply is a WIP, and I recommend doing some more research into stats before replying about it.

1. When playing Sun Wukong support, you have to play aggressively and contently poke your opponent. So change your build to be a tad bit more aggressive.

2. Leveling 72 Transformations first increases the damage and the stun duration for your ADC.

3. Bluestone Pendant is a better starter item for SWK as he uses a lot of mana for The Magic Cudgel.

4. I suggest Talaria Boots for every time you hit an opponent, you get 30 gold back and regenerate health back for not attacking.

That's my four cents in the suggestion bucket, fell free to use of these ideas in your guide.
