Introduction

Sol, the Goddess of the Sun, is an insane Carry and mid-laner, with her high single and multi target attacks and abilities, you will crush the mid lane, the duo lane or even the JUNGLE, Yes the jungle as Sol! She is great for teamfights and taking on enemy gods in 1v1. As an experienced player, playing Smite since the Beta on the PC and now on Xbox. I was always intrigued to play gods that do not belong in certain roles, especially Sol as a Jungler! As an expert jungler I will modify the builds as I continue to master the Goddess of the Sun and will update all my builds with jungle patterns and ganking situations adding new ways to build Sol and other gods in the Jungle. Look me up for all my other jungle builds and give me a shout for what you want me to post up on my builds! (ganking, jungle patterns, camp clearing methods (etc.)

Why the Builds?

My main, focus is to make recommended builds for you smite players to get an idea on how to build certain gods, all my builds listed are mine and guaranteed to be well built for many circumstances in games you play! For the Sol Jungle Build, you might wander why did I build her that way. but I mainly focused on high hybrid (PP and MP) with health for her to sustain on in fights.

Pros / Cons

Pros
- High single target damage (if built ADC or Hybrid)
- High AoE
- Great escape and stun
- Large burst and high damage overall
- Great ULT for Team fights and Single targets
- Great Camp clear (early game!)
- High Basic attack damage throughout the game

Cons
- Very squishy early game (if not built correctly)
- Not the best at ganking
- Difficult jungler if underleveled

Team Work

In a team fight or just apart of the team itself, Sol can be very deadly if ignored or not dealt with. If Sol is not the main focus for the enemy team, you can kill the whole team simultaneously.

Her ULT, Radiance, Stellar Burst and Disapparate are extremely strong AoE abilities to finish off the enemy team during a team comp.

Creeping / Jungling

Early game in the jungle for Sol can be pretty easy! As long if you get Radiance (1) at level 1 (start of the game) to initially deal damage to the creeps, gain full use of your passive using Radiance and healing yourself over time. At level 2 get Stellar burst, to do lots of damage if you are entering a lane or initially doing lots of damage to the camps. Xp camps and Mid camps are a piece of cake for Sol by using her passive and her two AoE abilities. As you gank, depending on the circumstance if you are ganking to help your teammate finish off an opponent, quickly use Disapparate to pass him for the stun but before you turn into a ball of light (after 3 seconds), you should quickly shoot out stellar burst then the trail will explode, which will usely end up with a kill.
In other circumstances, focus on doing basic damage and your AoE abilities to further damage your opponent, depending on the fight, use your disapparate to catch up to your enemy as you get a speed boost if their fleeing and shoot stellar burst before you turn into the ball of light then as you are the light, retreat the lane.
