Hello all!
This is my first chapter here, and i main support on Smite Europe servers.
I'm not that into the meta, and since season 2 started i didn't go to league (yet).
I'm experimenting items build for Sobek and this guide is here or document it.
If you have any suggestion, do speak up in the comments!
it's a WIP.
Passive: Blessing of the Nile
Sobek's passive gives him 21 protection(both physical and magical) if he hits something 3 times with basic or ability(3 stacks). Basically if you are actively participating in the fight(and you should) you get 21 free protection. each new attack refresh the timer on the stack which is 4 sec.
Ability 1: Charge prey
Your "LOLNOPE"/"Where do you think you're going?"/"You die now" ability. You wont get many kills with this ability, but if you have a teammate with you you probably gonna get an assist. With this you can throw back fleeing enemy, or just picking one enemy out of a crowd so your teammate can focus and kill it, or if ***** gets too steamy for you, you can use it to escape.
You have to remember that any enemy hit, even minions while charging WILL stop you, so keep that in mind. Also you are immune to knockups, but not other CC's.
Ability 2: Tail Whip
Your "Nu-uh. stay right there." ability, and your main damage dealer. This ability has a knockup AND knocks back enemies, hindering them from moving for a second. This is the ability that you might want to use after your 1. If the thrown back enemy didn't die in the last 2 seconds, and wants to join his team again this ability prevents that happening.
Ability 3: Sickening Strike
Your "You're one foot in the grave.Stay there." ability. This has has a healing reduction of 50%, halving any enemy healing, and paired with Divine Ruin its a whooping 90% almost nullifying any healing. it also heals you but it isn't a significant amount (180+(3x 10% of yuur Power).
if you are facing a healer in the duo lane(Aphrodite, Cupid, Guan Yu, Hel, Chang'e) this ability will become handy to not let them heal up!
Ability 4 - Ultimate: Lurking in the Waters
Underneath the WATTAH!
Your ultimate. The "Oh **** Crocodiles! Run!" Ability. Pop this baby and any enemy around you will disperse because nobody wants a crocodile bite mark on their behind, and its hurts as well. when you start it it you jump into the water, and in a small radius(30) crocodiles appear that wait on your command to attack. it also slows who ever gets ear you. You are immune to CC while underneath, and you also get 10% of your mana back per second being there! You can cancel the ability before the 4 sec i s over but the damage will be less!
Combos
"You will die now" : 1-2-4.
Your standard combo: Pick an enemy, throw him back, make them stay there with 2, and if he didn't die yet from your team mates, finally pop your ult to for him to choose less direct route to join his teammates, or face going through a hundred or so crocodiles.
"No fighting! No Fighting!" : 4-2.
If you are low on mana, or you just simply don't want to a fight occur somewhere your ult dose a great job at it. nobody wants to be dinner. And even after they become dinner and they are still alive and kicking, your 2 can make them think otherwise if their health is low enough.
"No healing zone": 3-1-2-4.
pesky healers with their pesky healing. bah! your 3 prevents them to heal a target effectively for 4 seconds and with divine ruin is 8 second. doing the stander combo after that you guarantee a kill for your team, even if Hel tries to so something!
Starter Items
Mark of the Vanguard is a great starter item +HP, a little protection, and the passive help a lot early game when even minion attacks hurt. this lessens it. and it allows to be bit more aggressive with your one. Or save you from a missed one.
