Skadi - Power build

This build is made during and for the split of season 3. In season 3, hunters took quite a nerf in the form of reduced crit viability combined with a nerf to lifesteal in general and soul eater in particular. On the other hand, Qin's sais has been buffed into viability again.

This, of course opens up for a variety of new builds and furthermore pushes the hunter more into the pusher/split pusher role rather than as a hard team fight carry. Several builds focus on maximising ability power and using the power and penetration of titan's bane to push objectives.

Skadi, as a god with a pet, excels in split pushing. By using the 5 hit points on Kaldr along with the ult, she can easily take a tower down without minions.

This build focuses on ability damage while also providing all the essentials to face the challenges she'll encounter during a game.
The only thing NOT in this build - is boots.

Boots gives you a lot of power/movement for the price, but it gives you no passive(warrior and ninja tabi) and little utility lategame. I've always hated that you needed to spend one precious slot on boots and now, with the new thousand-folded blade item tree, you don't have to. Masamune has just been buffed to +50 power, so using hastened fatalis + masamune gives you more movement speed than boots alone(although less than boots + fatalis) as well as 2 incredible passives.
Masamunes passive works kinda like Qin's sais, which is why you can wait until the end before buying it - or replace it altogether with another item.
