Introduction

Hello everyone, Rulion at your service for the first time bringing to you my favorite Anhur item build. This is my first guide so hopefully i get some good feedback and thoughts on this.

The base of this build is simply put as: High DPS and High Sustain.
The requirements are: Good aim (as all hunters need) and a desire for Deicide.

I've put quite some time into writing everything so please be kind. I am open to suggestions so instead of battering/flaming, simply talk to me :D

Item Choice Explanation.

So this is my first guide so please be nice... The reason i'm putting this up though, is because i found that this build completely destroys most players. Maybe i havn't been fighting against extremely godlike players but up until now, this is what has worked for me and it works wonders.

Here's an explanation as to why i've chosen these items.

Heartseeker: Once u fully upgrade this item you can gain more power simply by last hitting creeps and killing other players, you become stronger WHILE you fight so as long as you have health and don't need to back down, you'll be getting an early edge on your opponents.

Deathbringer: the 50% extra critical strike damage is really good for an auto attacking god. Even more so when u combine the impale's stun to get even more hits in. the 50 physical power never hurt anyone either... unless we're talking about the enemy :D

Rage: Although on the site says it only gives 9% attack speed, in game it really gives 15% fully upgraded. The main reason for this item is the 30% crit chance, bringing your crit chance to 50%, the unique effect of this item is also a valid reason to buy it at this point since it gives an additional 10% crit for every attack that does not crit (up until a max of 50%). Now if you do the math... you already have 50% crit with the items so far... if u don't crit at all your crit chance goes from 50% up to 100%.... and with an additional 50% crit DAMAGE... well that's some pretty deadly spear throws AND YOU ONLY HAVE 3 ITEMS SO FAR!

Qin's Sais: Now i choose the Sais over the blades because if you're already doing so much damage, you want to take advantage of the damage you and your teammates have previously dealt. the 20 dmg is good against those lucky 1hp players, and the 6% missing health damage is perfect for assassinating an enemy. This is also where the lifesteal begins.

As a high dmg dealer i believe lifesteal is a real benefit, the more dmg you do, the more you get back in health. high attack speed + high dmg = constant health return which means high sustain. As long as you have good aim... Lol

Bloodforge: 40-65 Physical power, 20%-30% extra lifesteal. This item not only increases your dmg the more you attack, but also the more health you gain! and it even works on minions! you can go from 100health to max in no time. Incredible sustain and dmg at this point in the build.

At this point with these items you go from 35% flat lifesteal to 45%, 165-215-240 physical dmg (as long as you keep your stacks up from Heartseeker and Bloodforge), 50%-100% crit chance with a great 50% additional damage of critical hits. You also get a 10% movement speed which is nice. And 40% attack speed.

Now for the final item

Asi: 15% lifesteal, which brings you up to 50%-60% lifesteal with all the other items.
30% attack speed which brings you up to 70% more attack speed than default
and 15 physical penetration which is nice.

Now to add on the unique effect, not only do you get 50-60% lifesteal depending on your bloodforge stack status, but if you somehow go below 35% health, you get an additional 25% lifesteal which brings you up to 75%-80% lifesteal!!!!!!

As long as you're not being the punching bag of the ENTIRE team, you're health will go back up instantly because of you're already high damage!

My build does sacrifice armor penetration, however, you will have a 90% full physical power bar (what you see when you hold tab) and the lifesteal+attack speed. I've found that no matter how tanky a player is i can still take them down while recovering my health in the process. The only times i have died where from being targeted by at LEAST 3 other players with decent CC.

I truly believe this build is powerful in arena, joust, and although i havn't tried it in conquest, i'm sure it would be powerful there as well.

The potion of physical might adds onto your already high power and is relatively cheap. The health potions are optional of course (i never really use them and i hope you can see why after reading all this)
The Combat Blink is also a good way to catch up to those gods who think Anhur's hunting label is a joke :) or simply to get away from an unfavorable situation.

Little penetration? You will become destroyed by any physical defense.

Let's say your amazing crit deals 700 damage.

Here's how the protection formula works.

Damage x (100/100+protections) = Effective Damage.

Let's say the enemy buys Breastplate of Valor, a very popular item. Keep in mind that this build has very little penetration, and most games don't even let you finish your build.

700 x 100/175 = your attack will deal 400 damage as a crit, and a measly 160 damage without a crit. One fairly cheap item, and they mitigate 300 damage per hit. And now you know why Executioner is so popular. (And 75 protections is actually a low number, innate protections can bring that number up to 135, or even 160 on some tanks)

Note: for 700 damage crits, you'd need either 350 physical power or 280 physical power with the deathbringer.

Feel free to PM me for BBC tips.

Well to start put the items into double brackets like so. Second most of it is in the little bar at the top of the section area, under the title.

2.) 2nd item Deathbringer? seriously? Anhur has the best earlygame of all the hunters, and you waste it by buying the most EXPENSIVE PLYSICAL ITEM IN THE GAME!?! Some people would say that it's punishable.
3.) Holy wall of text, batman! (add BBCoding)

1. i personally have never needed the boots so if you'd be so kind as to explain to me why they're so vital.
2. i mentioned that i have not tried this out in conquest which i'm pretty sure starts you off with less gold and takes longer to get fully geared in. Arena and Joust matches are quicker and much easier to get gold in so getting this item 2nd has never been a problem for me, however i will take this into consideration and move it to the back as getting the other items first which are cheaper could potentially be a better choice.
3. dunno how to bbcode so... i'll look into that :/

You need a tabi. You're gonna die a lose HS stacks without it. Deathbringer is a terrible 2nd item due to how expensive it is, save it for late game. Rage/Qin's should be set aside as situationals.
