Scylla the Sadist (Season 4)

Scylla is a goddess who enjoys the suffering of others; her kit is unfair and cruel. She has a unique playstyle that befits her. Scylla can do high amounts of burst damage in no time.

Scylla is an ideal middle lane pick, her sentinel ability gives her MP5 which allows her to stay in line longer and her crush ability gives her supreme and quick wave clear. Scylla is typically considered a late-game monster; her early game is not horrible by any means. Once Scylla can use her ult she is an unstoppable force, her ultimate is an early source of high damage often resulting in her getting first blood.

Scylla's crush ability has 25% flat penetration on it, that combined with the right penetration item can cause even guardians or gods with defense items to be concerned. Season four nerfed defense, this means that penetration is less efficient unless the enemy has a lot of protections. However, gods like Scylla or Kali that have natural penetration can capitalize on their natural ability.

Scylla only has one purpose, and it is to inflict as much damage on enemy gods as possible, she can use the natural penetration in her second ability to afflict damage on even the most guarded gods. She should target both squishy and non-squishy targets, no one is immune to her high damage and she can take advantage of that.


Other mages will tend to focus squishy targets, whereas Scylla can target any enemy put before her.

Cons

- Scylla players need to be careful because she can die quickly
- Weak early game
- Requires aiming and timing to hit her targets successfully

Scylla is very helpful in team fights; her crush ability can do a lot of damage to multiple opponents on the battlefield. Scylla can get Penta-kills from her ult and other abilities because she is a large source of damage.



Scylla can feed her jungler or teammates early game because her abilities do enough to get someone low but not enough to kill them.



Overall Scylla does an incredible amount of damage, and she can escape quickly, she is easily one of the safest and most practical middle laners.
