Introduction

Hi and welcome to my first guide.
I just wanted to publish my Ravana-Build since there are only a few and many people say Ravana is not playable.

I tested this build in solo lane a few times and it worked pretty well. At the moment my Ravana is mastery 2.

(against AP is still in development ;) )

Pros & Cons

Pros

- lategame is really good
- can kill ADC in lategame
- root and slow
- damage and CC immunity
- fast progression

Cons

- squishy early game
- has to farm a lot
- need expensive items
- low base damage

Skills

Your passive only helps your 1. ability. Early game it only helps a little to farm

Use this only to farm or to harras a little if enemy comes to close. Later you can slow enemies really nice and several enemies at the same time

Learn to use this ability and it will save your *** sometime. I use it when farming and you see the ability from enemies incoming. No damage for you and you can kill some minions with it. Sometimes it was the killing blow on enemy laner

your main attack to farm and damage minions and enemy god in lane. You can hit the whole wave with it. When the enemy god stays in his mionion-wave = even better.
It's also your main heal til lategame.
The root is only a short time and enemies can dash out of it, but it can be a nice gap-closer

I max this last. You can use it early or mid game to secure a kill if the enemy tries to get away. In lategame jump in every teamfight with it.
Try to hit support with it and then attack ADC or Mage (damage dealer from enemy team)

Items

gives you healt and damage. and if you clean your wave faster than enemy god you can harras him good and longer with it

get this after boots. your choice if after or before Midgardian Mail. i depend it on my team, if we are leading or not

gives you a nice damage and a better wave-clearer

good against AD. And the slow when they hit you is good --> you can close the gap easier or when you are running away

damage and attack speed. i like this item on Ravana because of his passive. Very good to peel enemy tanks. On the other hand it is expensive

because of your fast hit-progression you can stack really fast. More damage and lifesteal for you. This item is necessary if you wanna attack the enemy ADC and want to stay longer in teamfights

i get this item almost every game. if your jungler ganks to slow your enemy or to get away from enemies.
buy later tier3 depending on enemies

teleport
get this if you cant stay good in lane and your enemy always get you low health

Farming - Early and Mid game

Use your 3 on jungle monster to help your jungler clearing.

Then try to hit every minion wave with your 3. If you enemy use an ability on you and your wave use your 2 to avoid damage and clear the first 3 minions. The 3 Archer-minions shouldn't have much health left.
Stay more safe, you have NO escape. Ravana can even farm in front of your tower.
Your priority is to farm and stay alive.

Help your jungler if he ganks. Now you can use your ult. Try to hit your slow and root

After you got Midgardian Mail you can fight enemies more agressiv.
Now you can even join teamfights with your ult, but be carefull. You cant stay too long in teamfights. Just try to hit your slow, stack sometimes and your again your slow. Hit enemies with your 3 to heal or if they run away. I prefer to use my 2 to avoid mage-damage
(you doesn't want to get between janus abilties ;) )
Go out of teamfights when you are half life and stay behind. Watch if you can root running enemies and help teammates.

Team Work

After you got bloodforge you can kill enemy-ADC really easy. Just focus him even others are around.
Focus your ult on support ( he doesnt do much damage) and the others do reduced damage to you.
Let's hope your teammates go in as well and dont let you die.
After the ADC is down focus the warrior or tank from the other team. With your slow and qins sais you peel them to the ground

Choose your last item on your and enemy team.
Executioner helps you to do more damage but doesnt make you more tanky.
Bulwark is good against heavy mages (janus, poseidon, etc)
Winged Blade is good when you want more tankieness and to hit faster

Get Beads if they have a lot of CC (Ymir, Serqet, Herc, etc)

Summary

Hope i can help you playing Ravana.
He needs some training to get used to, but he is really good in lategame

Greetings ;)

If you have to play as cautious as you are, you're playing Ravana wrong. Minion clearing is no problem for Ravana, all I do is basic the melee minions then prana Onslaught them, and the same to the archers. If you're against a sun Wukong for instance or really any solo lane god with a wave clear, it shouldn't be a problem, you can take a few minion hits and heal with your 3. And if anyone gets too close, you can just ult them and beat them into submission. They will be surprised by how much damage your Prana Onslaught can do with your passive built up. Also, I prefer Witchblade over Midgardian on Ravana, but protections as always are situational. Sorry for no bbcode its annoying to do on my phone. Hopefully this feedback was helpful to you
