Kumbhakarna sleepily runs forward. If he hits an enemy he stops and deals damage. If the enemy is a minion, he throws them, dealing increased damage to each enemy they hit.

Kumbhakarna moves forward, stops at the first enemy god he encounters, and delivers a massive melee attack that uppercuts the enemy directly into the air. When the enemy lands, it deals area damage and causes knockup to enemies nearby.

Intro

Hi, this will be my first guide so it may not be as in depth as some, but I will try all the same. ***bakarna is a highly underrated god and some think him to be the worst of the guardians. While he may not be the best, he is still undoubtedly viable. I will be adding more information over the coming days.

Abilities

Sleepy
This is ***ba's passive. It's by far the most unique thing about him. Once every 4 minutes instead of dying ***ba falls asleep. If you manage not to take a certain amount of auto attacks within 8 seconds, you will regain conciousness with 25% health. Don't forget you can use Mighty Yawn while asleep!!

Throw Back
This dash ability is ***ba's most utilitarian ability. It is your laning ability, your escape, your poke, and it is his highest damaging ability aside from his ult, Epic Uppercut. As such you should always level it first.

Groggy Strike
This long and wide (hehe) range hammer strike is your kill confirm/chase ability. It will root enemy gods and minions hit, but has a long charge and does little in the way of damage. Best used after Epic Uppercut and Mighty Yawn. Root duration doesn't scale, so we grab it third and level it last.

Mighty Yawn
This is LIFE for ***ba. Mighty Yawn is a nearly instant cast radial mesmerize. It is his saving grace, and his enemies' nightmare. May all hail it and usher in the Age of the Flying Spaghetti Monster!! Wait... Wrong thing. At max the mesmerize lasts for THREE SECONDS. Enemies woken up early are get a movement slow of 40% and and attack speed slow ranging from 30%-50% depending on level, so level it second.

Epic Uppercut
This is the heavy hitter, a short distance charge after which ***ba knocks up an enemy for 2.2 second. The ability doesn't tell you, but for the duration of this charge ***ba is CC immune. Aim carefully because this ability is soooo easy to miss. If you're not close enough to whisper lovingly in thier ear, you're probably not close enough.

General Tips for Kumbakarna

Groggy Strike doesn't do much damage, so only use it in lane to pin the enemy minions farther back. This will allow your own minions to get closer to the enemy tower before encountering enemy minions.

- Late game if you manage to catch the enemies clumped together, Mighty Yawn and then epic uppercut someone. If damage from your teammates doesn't wake the enemies then when the one you uppercut lands their teammates will be damaged, knocked up, and get all of the aforementioned slows.

- ***ba is VERY team reliant. His damage falls off fairly quickly so you will need teammates to confirm kills for you.

- Don't waste your passive! Be sure to purposely sleep only if it will guarantee a kill or save a teammate.
- If your team finds themselves losing a teamfight, bodyblock shots for them. Groggy Strike enemies to pin them down. When you die, try to fall asleep in a corridor they have to pass through so you can put them to sleep and your team makes it safely away.
