Could you clarify on how this build is "pure frustration," all I see is a scatter of random items that may or may not do anything based upon how the enemy team is built...

This is more just a build than a guide, but I get what you mean. Being that no work has been done on explaining anything, you might surmise that the frustration comes from him being a solid tank and hard to kill (or, being Khepri, also protecting teammates and making THEM hard to kill).

These are all items in a very regular order that would work generally well as Support in Conquest, or even as a general tank in other modes. There are balanced protections, strong aura support for teammates, a bit of protection reduction, and 30% CDR, building up as the game gets to the late stages. Technically, if you're going to give just one build...it absolutely will do something. Also, given the presence of Watcher's Gift, it's likely for Conquest.

The build, as a general "I'm going to build this every time" is better than a lot of other options, but in any situation, it's best to learn how to adapt depending on the situation.
