Passive, Loving Embrace Gaining Aphrodite's favor is a blessing in that 30% of all Mana regenerated by Aphrodite is granted to her soul mate.

1st Ability, Kiss Aphrodite blows a kiss to an allied god, making them her soul mate and giving them both increased movement speed. If it hits an ally, it has a reduced 3s cooldown. If the kiss hits an enemy god, they are Stunned and Aphrodite's soul mate gets jealous, increasing their damage. Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds Movement Speed: 4/8/12/16/20% Jealousy Damage Increase: 4/8/12/16/20% Stun: 1s

2nd Ability, Back Off! Agitated by all the attention, Aphrodite commands enemies to get away from her, doing damage around her and knocking them back to 25 units from her. If Aphrodite has a soul mate, an explosion originates on them in addition, dealing the same damage and slowing by 25% for 2s. If an enemy would be hit by both blasts, they will only be affected by the one originating from Aphrodite. Damage: 80/140/200/260/320 (+60% of your magical power) Cooldown: 12 seconds Slow: 25%

3rd Ability, Love Birds Aphrodite calls forth a flock of beautiful doves that fly forward in the area in front of her. The doves circle around all enemies in the path, damaging enemies every .5s for 3s. Aphrodite and her soul mate also receive healing when cast. Damage: Damage per Tick: 15/25/35/45/55 (+15% of your magical power) Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds

4th Ability, Undying Love Aphrodite pledges undying love to herself and her soul mate. While this is active, her and her soul mate are invulnerable to all damage for a short duration. All Crowd Control effects are also removed when activated. Invulnerability Duration: .8/1.1/1.4/1.7/2s Cooldown: 90/85/80/75/70 seconds

Shoes of the Magi: This is a must have, the early pen really spikes your damage.
Rod of Asclepius: The movement & healing increase helps, because they will always have some anti-healing.
Chronos Pendant: CDR & MP5. Adds even more sustain to your lane. Also it gives some power.
Book of Thoth: Mana and power, this gives a huge power spike.
Obsidian Shard: Another huge power spike. Helps you burst towers & tanks down quickly.
Rod of Tahuti: Do I have to explain this?
Warlocks Sash: If they have a Loki or Poseidon, or even Scylla, I build this along with Thoth. Aphrodite has a very small health pool, so this really helps.
Purification: If you think you need sanctuary over this, that's fine. Go for it, I recommend Purification if your against a hard CC mid/jungle.
Sanctuary: Get this no matter what, it will save you very often.
Sprint: They WILL have curse, so get this no matter what.

Soul Stone: Since it was buffed, this is a must have on most gods. Helps her bad early clear.
Vampiric Shroud: Maybe you value sustain over damage, that's fine, it works well on Aphrodite solo, but I wouldn't recommend this if your Mid.

Support: Aphrodite can lane pair well, and she can offer sustain.
Mid: Great burst & wave clear once boots are online and your Love Birds has been upgraded.
Solo: Not seen anymore because of level 1 curse. Still somewhat viable.

Early game you're going to want to play it safe. Mid game comes and you have Book of Thoth and Shoes of the Magi online. Go on, poke your opponent some or maybe even kill him. It's late game now, your hitting very hard. You're gonna kill a lot of your opponents quickly now. Be aware of the situation at all times. Don't waste your ultimate to save a team-mate who is going to die no matter your efforts. Players are going to try dodge your kiss, if they do, it's fine, you will always have a lot of unconfirmed damage. Even as a Diamond Aphrodite, I still miss my kisses.

She's a gem in this lane, a lot of players don't know what to do against her. Purification? Curse? Sanctuary? She has crazy burst late game, and better wave clear than a lot of top tier mids. You may get destroyed or you may destroy. I enjoy Aphrodite mid and use it whenever I get the chance.
