Poseidon is an amazing god that can be pretty over power if used right. however i have to give it to hirez that he is actually BALANCED unlike some of the other new godds when they came out.
As he is a magical god my build might look pretty wrong as its building him csc but it actually works. dont judge it before you try it.
Changing Tides-this passive is what this build is based about keep an eye on it before engaging and when chasing you may be better off attacking creeps to stack it than focusing the enemy god(if applicable)
Tidal Surge-to me this is an intiator harras or finisher. it doesnt do great damage thanks to low magical power but when ganking can push an enemy god right into the path of your team mates also very handy after an ult like ares
Trident-to me this is the bread and butter. it causes him to stack
Changing Tides like crazy also you dont have to really worry about aiming its basicaly a long range cone attack you can also use this to get into or out of a lane quickly thanks to its bonus movement speed
Whirlpool-this is pretty useless in this build. its only bonus is it gets ride of movement buffs this is only really handed right before using release the kraken
or chasing/running
Release The Kraken!-BLUARGRARGRAL-flaiing limbs- this is just one visualy stunning ult. anyway this is a great, not really intiator but teamfight ability if ares has just ulted poping it down on top provides alot of cc and gives you time to clean up with your
Trident and
Tidal Surge i would advise against using your
Whirlpool until after the ult as there no real cast time for
Release The Kraken! us your
Whirlpool as i chasing to slow them down
this is my first guide on smitefire so please, judge away, i have no idea what the hell im doing. but one thing i do know how to do is play smite. anyway hope you find this guide at least partly useful and take some of this in game.
ciao all.
