Magebreaker Odin

Magebreaker Odin is designed to dominate single or grouped mages. Magebreaker Odin heavily relies on his (1) Lunge for poking with his (2) Raven Shout acting as extra damage. He will rely on the items Aegis Pendant and Sprint for escaping his poke position. His core item build will focus on magic resistance and crowd control defense. Odin may need more defense at this point but Hydra's lament is a must and Rage is highly recommended.

In combat Magebreaker Odin relies oh his (1) Lunge attack to close the distance and deal some damage. Odin's (2) Raven Shield may be used for additional burst damage or saved for if attacking a group. Upon landing Odin should immediately seek to escape. Aegis pendant and Sprint make a good combo here. Once Hydra's Lament is complete Odin can begin to follow up on pokes with a single hit but his priority should still be to escape. In the late game Odin will need to vary his combo to maximize bonus damage from Hydra's Lament. Odin should attack with his (1) Lunge the make a single hit with Hydra's Lament then (4) Ring of Spears, then (3) Grugnir's Might and make a single hit with Hydra's Lament then (2) Raven's Shout. With some cooldown focus (1) Lunge will be ready by the time the combo is complete and the shield has run out. With critical applied to Hydra's Lament damage can reach devastating levels.

Tank Odin

Tank Odin is difficult role and not suggested without a team. Odin will need to focus on his core items above all picking up his actives when he can. This will insure that he has enough base protection to soak a good portion of damage in a team fight. There is a small option to deal direct damage with basic attacks but auras really make this build shine. If magical damage is a problem then Odin should take the magical protections suggested over some auras.

In combat Tank Odin is all about the team. With use of his actives he can easily ignore or doges enemy ultimate attacks. His his core protections and use of his (2) Raven's Shout he can easily take any damage the enemy team throw at him and with his (3) Grugnir's Might and (4) Ring of Spears he can control the enemy team to some degree. This control allows his aura's to be very effective and make it easy for his team to follow up. His (1) Lunge and Combat Blink would usually be kept in reserve as a means of escape.

This is very interesting. I'll have to look into magebreaker Odin. I'm looking for a way to play him solo since he's on the current rotation.
