Ahh, Nu Wa. My bae. Luckily, I missed the moment where she transformed from "Old Wa" into "New Wa". So luckily, I missed all the rage when she got changed. But honestly, she is very strong against, well, ANYONE!!! Back in my old Smite days, after a long absence from the game, I played Nu Wa without playing practice (Uh oh...) and long story short, I sucked.
I didnt read her moves, didnt understand the minion stun (WTF, REALLY???) and just did bad.
But after hoping to redeem myself, I read her moves, did a training montage and finally got to play her again and guess what? I did... 6/4/7.
I was excited to find I did Mediocre on a god. After many games of spam playing Cupid, Cupid, Cupid, Cupid, etc. So, I kept playing her, got better and better and got my first Quadra Kill. After that, I knew me and Nu Wa had something.
As I am writing, I am currently Mastery VII as her. #Dedication #HumbleBrag. And who knows? I might make her my first Diamond rank god.
So, after watching many Nu Wa's fail, and countless amounts of facepalming. It is time, for me to share my Wisdom.
Do's:
Clear Properly. By this, I mean use your fog on the lane minions, and then metal.
Buy Wards. Really. Buy Wards. No Escape. Just. Buy. Wards.
Don'ts:
Get Cocky. She isnt bloody Herc.
Rely on your minions. You might hear alot of people complaining about the minions brains are as dumb as dirt. They aren't wrong.
Get disheartened early game. Late game is when she shines.
Pros:
Excellent late game.
Pushes lanes easily.
Can deal heaps of damage in group fights or individual fights.
Gotta love that ult snipe.
Cons:
Without mist or ult, is very vulnerable.
Soldiers AI is horrible.
Team mates can get really salty if you steal their kill with your ult
She can be played by anyone. Just depends on how you like her.
In teamfights and 1 on 1, she is incredibly epic.

Also, you need to have penetration in your build! You'll be doing very little damage against bruisers and tanks, and your tower pushing potential will be significantly hindered. I suggest replacing Soul Reaver with Obsidian Shard, since it's the least important item in the build.
Oh, and Chronos' Pendant does quite a lot, considering that the 25% CDR means that you'll get a 25% damage boost! You should definitely get it earlier than that, especially since it also increases your base damage, unlike Rod. I would probably get it as my 5th item.
1. Im not sure why also, I just like it as its boosts (125 mana, 100 magical power, and 15 mp5) can really boost her up, even IF you dont buy Rod Of Tahuti, along with Book Of Thoth's passive (3% mana turns into magical power), which is a **** load of power.
2. Well, im guessing you might be talking about her ult, with the CDR, but with its high cost, I wouldn't really go risking getting an item that does so little compared to, say Soul Reaver or Bancrofts.
3. Clay soldiers at level 3 wont really help early game, as clearing is very important if you go against a great clearer such as Kuk, Ra etc.
Hope I answered all your questions <3
1. Why buy Book of Thoth so late in the game? It has a relatively high cost, and is a stacking item for 75 stacks, so it seems like to me it would be wiser to pick this item up first/second, not in the late game.
2. Chronos' Pendant is the last item of the build, I was just wondering why? I am not sure if it's just my play style, but when I played Nu Wa (Capped at mastery 5) I needed the early CDR.
3. For the skills, I notice you select Clay Soldiers for level 4, I was just curious as to why not get them at 3 for the early shielding and attack? Just curious let me know
I think it has the possibility of being an awesome guide with a little more explanation, and re-working! Good work and luck -Vero :-)
