Mercury Hit and Run ^_^

hi, so Mercury, fastest alive, his passive is to keep moving and land the next basic attack on something/someone that matters, plus extra dmg from items that give movement speed (which we will kinda utilize but not much... many people (i.e. Dmbrandon) say that gods don't have builds on which i agree 100% (although i am not at their lvl) however i feel that for assassins there are some basic items that you kinda need to get except if you wanna cheeese your way through the game xD

EARLY GAME: i would suggest not going for red pot, instead death toll + HOG 2 ,, or with the upcoming patch (that will buff bumbas) bumbas and HOG 2 .. that will give you a lot of sustain in the jungle, however be very tight on abilities as you kinda don't notice and loose the mana pretty quick, you wanna focus on lvling your 2 and 3 ( order of which is up to you as the 3 damages minions more but that's your escape or initiation and your 2 works better with the items)


EARL MID + MID GAME: you wanna get your boots going then either one of these heartseeker (if you want that huge burst + the movement speed works with your passive so more dmg)
or go straight for all the items in the crit section... order is to your preference but i would suggest get RAGE then DEATH BRINGER early ... If you choose the all items in crit section the BLOODFORGE is a must with the huge crit and crit bonuses your basic attack with "Made you look" is not gonna be less than 400 ish add that to the lifesteal that will give a lot of sustain in fights early on


MID LATE + LATE GAME: you wanna finish your build with golden bow as your last item, now you hit in 1000s and bloodforge will bump up your life from 1 hp to full from any jungle camp that you can take wil escaping and landing "made you look" on it or on the chaser with the crit potential you can turn that chase around as you will have aroun 80% chance (with the RAGE passive)... in group fights if you are playing someone you know try to sync your ULTIMATE with someone else's like ra, janus, he bo, change' etc...

LATE GAME: THAT"S WHEN MERCURY SHINES... always poke with "made you look" your crits on it can get someone down to have health just like that


PS: your ult isn't about dmg unlike other assassin's, it is either for escape or intiation (starting fights) or cleaning up a kill of someone that's escaping
- I would also suggest that when you gank gank the duo lane early one with you ult from your duo lane tower if the enemy is at their tower that way they have no idea you're coming which is kinda of a blink stun

- good combos: you wanna try as much as you to land your 3 and aim the target either to your allies, towers or a wall and bodyblock him from escaping (while your throw him activate your 2) and keep basic attacking, if he somehow bypassed your clean up with "Made you look"


- also practice merc in co-op arena before you hop in a game, try to kill steal for one purpose to show yourself how much you do dmg


-Mercury is an "ALL IN" or "ALL OUT" kinda god, you either go in and fight or wait outside for clean up and keep poking with your 1 ... with bloodforge you shouldn't be afraid as long as you land your basic attacks
