Description

Warrior Tabi shoes are great item for start. It will give you a great amout of physical power (40) for start. It also gives you 18% movement speed. Useful for evading or chasing. With Medusa, it is more likely you will chase!

Description

So you need Mana Potion because Medusa is, like most of the gods, mana hungry at start. Buy two just in case.

Description

Healing Potion is good to have. You don't really have to buy it but it can come in hand.

Description

The Executioner is item I use in every adc build. It gives you decent amount of physical power (30), especially for start of the match, very good amount of attack speed (25%), and you lower your foe's physical defense with basic attack. It is very helpful.

Description

Spirit Robe is great item for protection. With +40 physical protection and +40 magical protection it is extremly useful. Now 15% of cooldown is good to have. Passive is also good.

Description

Jotunn's Wrath can give you good advantage over enemies. 40 physical power which is very good, 11 physical penetration and 150 mana. Passive gives you 25% of cooldown reduction which is a lot + 15% on Spirit Robe and you get 40% and that is max. you can have.

Description

Odysseus' Bow gives you huge amount of attack speed (40%) and it's passive can give you kills or at least make some foe's to retreat! Passive is every fourth Basic Attack triggers a chain lightning, damaging the target and up to 4 nearby enemies for 30 damage +50% of your total Physical Power.

Description

Rage is strong item, but expensive. That's why it is in last place of items. But it's also one of the best. Gives you +40 physical power and +30% critical chance success. Passive - If your basic attack doe not crit, you get +10% critical chance on every basic attack, max. 5 times. It resets on successful critical attack. So in the end you will have like 80% critical chance, but you will probably deal crit on 50%-60%.

Description

Combat Blink is very usefull to evade from enemy gods or their abilities. Like i said in Zeus's build, if you are fighting someone like Hades it is good to have it sooner in game so you can escape his ultimate. You do have Lacerate but Hades can silence you or you maybe used it already. However it is good thing to have.

Description

Teleport to Gods is last thing because it is useful to have it later in game. If you die and respawn, or you just teleport back to fountain so you can heal or buy items, you can quickly come back to the battlefield on the other part of map.

Medusa's skills are very strong. In-game under Pros you will see "High single target damage" but 2 of her abilities are good for area damage including her ultimate.

Sidewinder

Description

It is Medusa's passive. It let's her go backward with half movement penalty and move to side without movement penalty. Good for dodge enemy attacks and for flee.

Viper Shot

Description

This is first Medusa's ability. Next 3 arrows you shoot are actually snakes. It is damage over time (DoT) move. Very useful if enemy is running from you and have very low health. You can hit one enemy with all 3 arrows/snakes or with each arrow diffrent enemy. If you choose first option it will make him a huge amount of damage. DoT doesn't work on towers or phoenix and minions have low health so it will be a waste of abillity to use that on them. I suggest only to use it on gods and jungle monsters.

Acid Spray

Description

Acid Spray is second Medusa's ability. It is Area of effect (AoE) ability. First target it hits gets attack speed debuff and all enemies behind him are hitted too. You can use this if enemy god is hidding behind enemy minions. Very helpful and strong ability.

Lacerate

Description

Third ability of Medusa, Lacerate. It is great to catch up with the target and do some damage while doing so, just simply attack or evade. I mostly use it to evade or when battling 1vs1. It is fast and there is pretty big area you can go to.

Petrify

Description

Medusa's ultimate. If enemy is looking in Medusa it stuns him for 2 seconds and trust me enough time to kill him, or at least make some serious damage, even on tanks + ability itself deals a lot of damage. If enemy isn't lookin at Medusa it gives him movement speed debuff for 1.5 second + lot of damage. Very useful for ganking, saving ally god or yourself. It is AoE ability.

So Medusa is very strong and good she is good if you want to get a lot of kills.

Medusa is very good in the start of the match and later but if you are fighting enemy with good CC (Crowd Control) like Athena or Nemesis, she can be really hard to play. Medusa is squishy so most likely she will die after they used CC. But you can always gank from jungle and if you do it good and fast enough with help of your abilities they will have no chance of doing so. I will not talk about every gamemode for itself because it is almost same in every. Medusa is adc so good for ganking, doesn't matter is it conquest or joust. What you have to take care about is other hunters and assasins. Take Bastet for example. She can get you really angry because she jumps all over and can be very hard to kill. However if you put your DoT, Viper Shot, she will lose health while attacking. Best thing for you is to try Petrify on gods like her and then do damage as much as you can. After that they will die or at least be forced to flee. It is better than get you killed. Medusa is very good against mages and most of the warriors and other melee. When some melee god come close you can alway use your Lacerate to make a distance and continue attacking him. Mages have slow attack speed and slow movement speed so it gives you time to dodge their attacks because of your passive and give them some big damage.

Athena

Description

Athena can make enemy gods chase her with her Confound and when she does that it is time for your Petrify.
Rating:
9/10 - That strategy won't necessary work and even if it does, there aren't much strategies left with her.

Anubis

Description

Anubis is strong mage, one of the strongest in game. When you do your ultimate and petrify enemies Anubis has enough times to use his Death Gaze or Plague of Locusts. He will probably get the kill but it is most important to win, right?
Rating:
7/10 - Great strategy but problem is Anubis and Medusa are both squishy so there without a good tank they will hardly win.

Guan Yu

Description

Guan Yu is warrior, but he can be your support. He can give enemies target while you attack because he is tank with right build + he can heal you and you need healing because not so high protection.
Rating:
8/10 - They are good team, he can tank enemies while you attack from range. But, same as Athena, there isn't really any other strategy you could use.

Ymir

Description

Ymir] is one hell of a tank. High damage + high protection and health. There are many combos you can do with him. With [[Ice Wall] active enemies are cornered if well placed. So enough time to hit them with your [[Viper Shot or to hit them with Acid Spray. Right after one of those 2 (or both) you finish them with your basic attacks. Ymir's Frost Breath stuns enemies for 2.25 seconds which gives you enough time to place your self for Petrify to add some more stun and some serious damage or you could use any of your other abilities, or you could simply attack with basic attack. There is so much you can do in team with Ymir. Experimenting is best way to find out what you can do.
Rating:
10/10 - Ymir is excellent tank, which you need, and there is so much strategies you can do with him. Only downside is it could be to easy.

Ares

Description

Ares is one of the best guardians in game, at least if you ask me. He is one of those gods you don't want to meet in enemy team. His ultimate stuns all enemies (or at least ones in the range) and enemies are pulled to Ares. So it is nice enemy team group up... Until you come and kill everyone. Your Acid Spray is very useful here. Hit enemy god which is closest to you and it should spray on everyone else. There is time to use Viper Shot too so you give them a nice DoT.
Rating:
9/10 - Ares is a tank, strong one, good abilities etc. But not many strategies with him.
