Hey everyone! I'm OMGASIA, casual Smite addict. While I know how to enjoy all casual game modes, I mostly play Joust and Arena. I’ve decided to start getting basic guides up for new Gods as they are released so there is a starting point for players who weren’t able to test them on the PTS. This isn't meant to be a definitive end all be all on Medusa. This is the way I've enjoyed playing her so far, and possibly others will enjoy as well!
This guide is out of date, and I will not be updating it further. For further explanation check my blog (Click here!)
I'm keeping this guide up for the time being for reference. Please check out the other wonderful Medusa guides for the most up to date information.

While on the PTS I played with a few different builds that I enjoyed. These may not be the top damage builds, they are simply what worked well for me.

Her 2 is also great for dealing dmg (also the poke), so once again I want more power. And then there is her ult, which scales great with her power.
I end up only having 1 attack speed item, executioner, otherwise it's power, crits, lifesteal, mana and cdr.
Nice builds :) personnaly i love ataraxia build when i'm adc with medusa, but when i build it i play very close to my tower or at range for Medusa 3 in case of gank. I'm beginning to be aggressive when i build Devourer's Gauntlet, Heartseeker and Hastened Fatalis or when i'm sure i'm alone against the other adc. After that, i had quite the success with Transcendence on solo lane but i'm building Devourer's Gauntlet on her not Asi since Medusa is better with raw power in my opinion.
I've been seeing lots of Medusa players kicking butt with Hastened Fatalis for sure. I'm also a fan of Devourer's Gauntlet on my own. I personally don't play Conquest so I don't work my personal builds for it at all. It's good to know alternate builds are working great too though!
Just a very small correction; Witchblade does not give movement speed any more. Other than that, it was a great guide, thank you!
Oh, yes! Thank you! I totally just copy/pasted the Witchblade info from my outdated guide lol. Oops! Fixed it, thanks again!
wait the other accepted build for competitive is ataraxias "k" build which is devs, hs, hf, exec, rage, db. although replacing devs for asi gives more dps, for medusa her one scales with pwr so she is one of the few characters u would rather have devs on
I haven't actually tried the Ataraxia ADC build on her yet. I'm personally not a huge fan of using Heartseeker because I hate that the stacks are halved when you die. It is a great snowball piece but unless my deaths are minimal I feel like it tends to bite me in the tush.
I've seen lots of critique on the actual damage output of the Ataraxia build as well. Yes there is more movement utility with the build, but I feel Medusa does fine with just boots and doesn't need Hastened Fatalis. That being said it's not a bad build, just not one I personally would use.
