Skadi Build

Arena Mode Fun/Chase game strong

Build Item Transcendence Transcendence
Build Item Ninja Tabi Ninja Tabi
Build Item Soul Eater Soul Eater
Build Item Hastened Fatalis Hastened Fatalis
Build Item Qin's Sais Qin's Sais
Build Item Deathbringer Deathbringer

In response to all these other Kaldr based builds...

This build is for the person who hates having to rely solely on Kaldr. So many builds I see as Skadi have only power items or are 50/50 with damage and defense so that you are able to tank whilst Kaldr attacks or roots the enemy for you to hit. This build on the other hand is for those people who like to have fun, this build also dominates in joust but people have their preferences for other game modes so I left conquest and joust out of this.

With this build you are sure to run over other hunters such as artemis and medusa as long as you choose to strike at the right time. This is the same build that I use as xbalanque and once his passive is maxed out I am able to get triple kills after using his ult to stun enemies.

This focuses on attack speed and damage with no defense. The point of this build is to go in quickly kill as many people as possible in a group and get safely and with enough health to plan your next attack.

ITEMS

Transcendence

Alright this is the core of your build, this item provides you with 55.5 physical power after all the stacks are build and completely gets rid of any mana issue you may have late game even if you decide to go with items such as jotuns for a faster cool down.
I chose this as the first item that you buy because it will give you the damage and the mana you need to survive early game

Ninjas Tabi

This is pretty self explanatory, because the build is revolved around attack speed I went with ninjas tabi because of the additional attack speed

Soul Eater
I HIGHLY recommend you get this item over Asi in a build like this. It is what keeps you alive and allows you to deal more damage with the extra attack speed. DO NOT forget to build the stacks on this item because as I said this is what WILL keep you alive. It will allow you to get into a battle get to 40% health then get back to about 60% and that extra 20% is just enough to get you away from any attacks barring ultimates whilst you use sprint.

Hastened Fatalis
Here she is, the reason I made this guide in the first place. I rarely see this item used on hunters except on some few rare occasions. It is an item which I believe is underrated. It allows you to chase down your enemy with ease and with your attack speed it is even forgiving for those who have bad aim because you will be firing of so many shots you are bound to hit one, and once you start the chain running towards any enemy, you are bound to get the kill (Unless of course you choose a stupid time to do it or if you get trapped/ ulted). It also helps with battles because the extra speed allows you to strafe away during hunter battles, from up close you will be able to run circles around your enemies and even whilst running away it helps you keep a good distance if you feel like you would be able to take down the enemy if you were slightly out of their range.

Qin's Sais
I really don't think I need to say much. Attack speed + extra damage on gods.

Deathbringer
Amping up your damage past 250 and giving you crits? Whats more satisfying than hitting 4 crates out of 8 shots you land on an enemy within the span of a few seconds and sending them to the respond screen? This is literally the icing on the cake, on other hunters and gods that do no have any protection you will be able to hit up to 400-500 on crits and late game hitting 500 on and enemy is surely atlas 1/4th of their health and the fact that you shoot so fast and the crit chance is so high you will be able to scare them off so easily. Nothing sends and enemy into a panic like seeing their health drop from 2200 to 1700 then 1300 in a few seconds causign them to loose focus or to loose their calming usually resulting in a panic in which you kill them.

DESCLAIMER

All of this is BARRING Kaldrs damage. Colder pre ult will be hitting about hitting atlas 250 and with his ult a lot more and that should be enough for you to take down any enemy god.

Im sure you have read this extensively and carefully enough that you noticed I said this was for arena, some I'm guessing this was a sarcastic response? Most arena games won't really have someone who is willing to play guardian so your only issue maybe warriors and even then, a little bit of smart play and you are still having fun with this, I never said this was to win every conquest and joust game so that you are a god and Hi-Rez solute you as that.

I read it extensively enough to see that you actually don't mention arena once in your guide. You may allude to it, but not enough that it's clear what you mean.
You do say that it dominates joust though, so I'm sure you can see where the confusion came from.

Regardless of game mode, our points still stand about utilising and building for Kaldr. He's skadi's best tool.

Also, on a sidenote, my guide is currently being updated. My new build utilises Kaldr more effectively now.

that wasn't, didn't read the guide fully, mostly the first part and the items sorry, although thats also true and clash and assault.

still, 0 penetration.

idk why you mentioned a warrior or a guardian, not relevant.

i did not even hint i am a god, and your response was more sarcastic than this ever was.

a zery penetration no burst build is still lackluster in regards to the burst build.

im sorry if i insulted you, didnt mean to do that. just meant to drop my 2 cents on the matter of kaldr/ no kaldr. your damage output will be still lower then anyone building burst, but do what you want, if your gonna act like that, im not continuing the discussion.

I assume you're referring to my guide & cake's.

the reason we pick up power items is because you can use it to maximize Skadi's damage output, and yes, kaldr is an immense part of it.

Kaldr is Skadi's best mechanic and the thign that allows her to be unique as a god and have a lot of immense burst, not taking advantage of it is just stupid.

Soul Eater and Fatalis in the same build? K.

And also, like Cake said, No penetration.

Edit: and in regards to the bruiser Skadi builds, they are not kaldr reliant, they ampify the early game and allow skadi to grow in a super bursty team comp.

With 0 penetration in your build you're not playing to Skadi's tower/objective pressure game, which is one of her biggest strengths.
Also you'll be getting greatly diminished damages returns on anybody building any sort of protections.

Also I don't get your complaint about builds having Kaldr in mind. The whole point of Kaldr is to lay pressure on, and burst down, your opponents. I don't see why you wouldn't want to build to capitalise on that.
