I was playing Kukulkan mainly in Season 2, but I tried out a nice build i created yesterday (whick worked very well) and that's the reason why I wanted to share this build with you.
Book of Toth
First pick here would be the Book of Toth, it gains you a bit more mana at the beginning and also gives you decent damage at the start of a game, also with his passive.
Shoes of the Magi
Second pick here are the shoes of the magi. You can also replace them with the Shoes, which bring you a bit cooldown, but that's up to you.
Warlock's Sash
It#s important to buy this item and also Bok of Toth at the start of the game, because it needs its time to get fully stacked. Later on I will go in detail, why I'm choosing this.
Rod of Tahuti
The item, which has to be bought by every mage, it gives you a lot of damage.
Ethereal Staff
This item will give you, just like Warlock's Sash, some more life, which is also very important for its passive.
Spear of the magus
Depending on your opponents this Spear is a very decent pick, because ot the tick damage of the whirlwind.
Warlock's Sash gives you (fully stacked) 600 health, 400 mana and 110 magical power. Due to Kukulkans passive (5% of the mana will be given as magical power) this item generates additional 20 magical power.
Book of Toth gives you (also fully stacked) 875 mana and 100 magical power. Its passive gains you 3% of your mana, which means, that only this item generates you 126,25 magical power.
The Ethereal Staff gives you 30 magical power, 300 mana and 600 health. Combined with its passive (2.5% of your health become magical power), it gives you additional 75 magical power, because Kukulkan, fully stacked on level 20, has got nearly 3000 health.
You see, combining the different items with their passives and Kukulkans passive gains you a lot of damage. If you choose the Spear of Desolation, your magical power (calculated at an internet calculator) shows you 899 (but i guess Kukulkans passive isn't calculated here).
Sorry for my English, I'm not a native speaker, but I gave my best. I hope some of you have good advice, how to improve this build.
