First A Warning To All

This build is hard to master. You must be experienced, focused, and intense. . . . Just kidding all you have to do is land your three and you just took the enemy to half health. Also if you land your Ult, well let's just say the enemy laner is going to be pissing his pants.

Introduction

I, myself, am not a Kukulkan player I main in Warrior roles, but if I have to go mid lane I will always choose Kukulkan for his minion clearing and extremely high damage potential. Yes, with this build you will be very squishy . . . but the enemy shouldn't be able to get close to you without consequences.

Skills

Kukulkan's passive "Power of the Wind Jewel" Increases his Magical Power by 5% of maximum mana.

Kukulkan's first ability "Zepher" is a projectile that slows enemy's for 50& for 3s at full level, and does 240 base damage plus 75% Magical Power at full level.

Kukulkan's second ability "Slipstream" give him 80% movement speed for 4s at full level.

Kukulkan's third ability is "Whirlwind". Kukulkan summons a whirlwind dealing 50 base damage plus 15% of Magical Power per tick at full level. Total for 5 ticks.

Kukulkan's Ult is "Spirit of the Nine Winds". Kukulkan summons the Spirit of the Nine Winds (I see what you did there Hi-Rez) in a line dealing damage to all gods in it's path. This does 800 base damage plus 120% of your Magical Power!

Pros / Cons

Pros: High Damage, minion clearing on point, and ranged.

Cons: Low defense, no really good escape, lots of CC can stop you.

The Math

With Items and at Level 20 (Items will be named if present) does not include passives.

Health = 365(+68) = 1725 + 300(Warlocks Sash) = 2025

Mana = 265(+45) = 1165 + 250(Shoes of Focus) + 400(Warlocks Sash) + 125(Book of Thoth) + 300(Soul Reaver) = 2240

Magical Power = 475 (all items) + passive(101.25) = 576.25

Basic ATK damage = 34(+1.45) + 20% Magical Power = 178.25

Ability 1 = 240 + 75% Magical Power = 672.19

Ability 2 = None

Ability 3 = 50 + 15% Magical power per tick(5) = 682.19 if all ticks land.

Ultimate = 800 + 120% magical power = 1491.5

With all the passive items the damage for the ult is increased to around 1800 damage.

The Items and Why

Shoes of Focus - 18% movement speed, 10% cooldown reduction, +250 mana, +40 Magical Power
This is a good early game item usually switched out for Shoes of Magi after full build the extra mana helps and the cooldown reduction is nice when you're getting pressured as you will when you play Kukulkan because of your squishyness.

Book of Thoth - This is going to be your second item because of the stacks it provides. It's passive says this, "You permanently gain 10 Mana per Stack, and receive 5 Stacks for a god kill and 1 Stack for a minion kill (max. 75 Stacks). Additionally, 3% of your Mana is converted to Magical Power." So you gain 750 mana from this passive and with the build you'll end up gaining a bit more MP as well, around 20 MP.

Warlocks Sash - I was asked why this item when I already had a stack item in the build and here is the answer, it's passive. You permanently gain +3 Health and +.6 Magical Power per Stack, and receive 5 Stacks for a god kill and 1 Stack per minion kill. (Max. 100 Stacks). This will give you 300 extra health and 60 extra magical power. This is eventually switched out for Void Stone or Spear of Magus.

Obsidian Shard - This item gives both Magical Power and penetration. +60 Magical Power and 33% penetration.

Soul Reaver - This item not only gives a good amount of Magical power(+100) but it's passive is great as well. "When a god takes damage from your abilities, they take 10% of their maximum Health in additional True damage. If multiple gods are hit, the damage is applied to the one with the greatest maximum Health. This can only occur once every 40 seconds."

Rod of Tahuti - Gives +125 Magical Power and then it's passive increases your Magical Power by 25%.

I don't see the benefit of buying book and buying warlock can you explain how they work together

They don't really work together, they are just for extra health/mana/magical power. It's also not a great idea to double stack. And I'm not sure why he is building Book of Thoth last since you need to get stacks online as soon as possible.(from a conquest point of view)

Also, why are you up at 1:30 in the morning?

Time2medicate, Absolutely! I also forgot to put the passive for all the items in the build, I wll be updating it today. CircleAreRound, You have a good point, the Warlocks Sash is for the early game benefits and can usually be replaced with Spear of Magus or Void Stone in the late game. The build is in no particular order, but when I update it I'll put them in build order, (Book of Thoth) is built right after Shoes of Focus)
