Welcome to my guide for Khepri, The Dawn Breaker!

Hello, my name is Ballum Ballum. I'm a casual Smite player who plays a mixture of Joust and Conquest. My best role is support and with that my best god is Khepri. This build has always worked wonders for me. I hope it helps you too.

This is my first smitefire guide I hope you enjoy it.

Now lets get started with Khepri, The Dawn Breaker!

Pros / Cons

Pros:

Rising Dawn great for poke damage/ wave clear
Fortitude allows for a tankier start
Scarab's Blessing is a great saving grace for teammates
Big target - easy to body-block
Very easy to trap enemies
Easy Solar Flare to Abduct combo

Cons:

Easily shut down by knock-up or stun
During Abduct, you are silenced along with the enemy
Needs to be put into harms way to set up your team
Scarab's Blessing Only affects one god at a time
Scarab's Blessing doesn't guarantee a revival

Skills

Passive - Fortitude

Analysis

Every 5s, Khepri applies a shield to himself and nearby Allied Gods for 2% of the target's Maximum Health for 15s. The rate is slowed to every 10s while in combat. (Max 10%)

Khepri's passive is one of my favorite reasons to play as Khepri. This shield will be at its max by the time you enter lane every single game. This increases your starting health by 10% or 55 true health points. That doesn't sound like much but it is enough to tank a few hits from the minions while you position yourself to attack the enemy. Khepri's Abduct ability will always put him in harms way when used offensively. This shield from your passive makes it very easy to control that incoming damage in the early game. The passive also provides a shield to your teammates which helps them negate any incoming damage in the early game as well.

1 - Abduct

Analysis

Khepri lunges forward, dealing damage to enemies he passes through. If he connects with an enemy god he stops, grabs them, and starts pulling them backwards. Enemies are silenced for the duration of the pull.

Abduct is the bread and butter of Khepri's kit. It is the most satisfying moment when playing Khepri when you grab an enemey and drag them to your ADC to have them deal massive damage to them. 99/100 kills or assists I have as Khepri are due to Abduct. The downside to this ability is that you are just as slow and vulnerable as the enemy you're dragging. You are moving at the same speed and are silenced. The enemy can also still use basic attacks on you during Abduct. This ability will also be stopped if you are stunned, knocked-up, etc;. Regardless this ability is a unique ability that only Khepri has and when used in the correct situations it is a huge game changer.

2 - Rising Dawn

Analysis

Khepri rolls the sun forward, setting ablaze all enemies it touches, reducing physical protections, and dealing damage over time. Allies that are hit take reduced damage from enemies for the duration.

Rising Dawn is Khepri's main damage ability. It helps the ADC with the minion wave for the first couple of waves. Once the ADC get a little more power start using Rising Dawn on enemy's for two reasons. 1) It damages them (DUH) 2) It de-buffs them by removing a percentage of their protections. This de-buff just increases the effectiveness of your Solar Flare to Abduct combo because your teammates will be dealing more damage.

3 - Solar Flare

Analysis

Khepri calls down the sun's ire at the target location, dealing damage and rooting all targets in the area.

Solar Flare is the simplest ability in Khepri's arsenal. It is a simple A.O.E. ability that roots and damages enemies. Where it really comes into play is when you combine Solar Flare with Abduct. The 3-1 combo is the most used combo with Khepri and is what makes him so deadly with positioning enemies where he wants them.

4 - Scarab's Blessing

Analysis

Khepri blesses an allied god, immediately cleansing them of all crowd control as well as granting them Movement Speed and immunity to slow effects. If the marked ally would die while blessed, they are instead revived with a percentage of their maximum Health at Khepri's location.

Scarab's Blessing is Khepri's iconic ability. Using this effectively means that you can save your teammates life and completely change the course of a battle and give your team a second chance. This blessing also removes crowd control effects and gives your teammate increased movement speed which helps out immensely when used as a retreat buff.
