Introduction

Hello! This is my first build guide ever! I've been using this build for quite sometime and I think it will help out new players or just players that want to try out a new build. FEEDBACK IS WANTED AND WELCOMED!! I hope this build helps you get Triplekills galore! Thank you!

This build is Protection Shred based, so you can be doing the maximum amount of damage that Thor can do and let's just say he does A LOT. This build is best for Arena/Joust since it is kill oriented, and the what the build is based on Protection Shred doesn't come online until the end of the build.

Items

Bluestone- You start off with Bluestone, to help clear early game since that isn't one of Thor's strong suits. This will also help with early game poke.

Morningstar- Thor is extremely mana hungry early game, without Mana Buff you can use your kit twice then another single ability and have 0 mana. Transcendence really helps with mana plus the little extra MP5 helps, plus the physical power you receive from the item itself and stacks really shows up Mid game. Build all the way to Transcendence before your next item.

Sanctuary- This is the best relic to start off with Thor because he really has to get into the thick of things. It helps with tower diving also. Relics are completely situational though, tweek as the game seems fit.

Warrior Tabi- These are the best boots for Thor simply for the +40 Physical power.
Thor doesn't need to build tanky it's just a waste of Thor's damage potential. Cooldown boots aren't needed because this build has full cooldown, and the speed boots just aren't a good item to build on Thor.

Jotunn's Wrath- Between Cooldown, Power and Mana, this is just a great item to build on Thor.

Breastplate of Valor- This is the only item that you build protections for another item provides more but that's more of a perk, and it finishes the mana problem and gives full cooldown reduction. This is a crucial item and you shouldn't skip it or change it. This is a very important item to the build.

Brawler's Beatstick- This is where Protection Shred starts. Plus it gives +40 Physical Power.

Sell Bluestone

Voidstone- This is the final item, it's aura gives +55 Protection Shred this is great for killing, plus in a team fight everyone of your team gains +55 protection shred that is great. It also provides Protections for you plus more Physical power.

Skills/Playstyle

Skills- Your 1 is the most damaging ability you have so I prioritize it. Then your 3, your 2 and finish off the Ult at the end of the game. Pick things up 1-3-2-4 buying your Ult at 5 of course.

Combo- 2-1-3 or 4-2-1-3 First you stun them this lines up your hammer or 1, after throwing that walk to them and 3 since you stun in a straight line the hammer will be able to hit twice so while you're 3ing your hammer comes back and the damage is dizzying. if you have your Ult use it to get the jump on an enemy or several, it also stuns, so if you land and then hit them with your 2 they are stunned for a very long time.

Playstyle- You mostly hang back and wait for someone to be out of place. Or wait for them to line up, and it doesn't matter who it is with all of the protection shred it's like they're all squishys, I have found myself cutting through cutting through tanks like they weren't even tanks. Be careful when you try to engage more than one person though you are also a squishy character, if three mages come out of the stun an only one dies your chances of survival are low. Pick engagements smartly. Your 4 and 1 are also great escapes.

I use the combo 4-1-2-3 for this reason.....they are already stunned from your ult for about 1.5 seconds....as soon as you land your ult use your one then use your stun and then your berserker barrage....add a few basic attacks in with that combo and you will get the max amount of damage into that enemy......i have multiple games where I'll get double and triple kills with this combo....but really in the end it is whatever works best for you.....i just feel that stunning after you throw your hammer anchors then in place long enough for you to get your entire 3 off instead of giving them even the slightest chance of using their escape...but if your ult is down the 2-1-3 combo you mentioned is spot on....all in all a good build
