Hello All,
This is my first build here on Smitefire, so please do be nice in the comment section.
I am a pretty casual Smite player, though Jing Wei has tipped my interests into becoming a little more competative, as I feel she is a little underated.
This build is a very pure build and can be used in any game type, though i have not had chance to test it in assault. I understand that some people will have their own opinions about Tran being the last item you purchase, though this is a great way to boost your basic attack damage late game and of course, as an ADC, you should be able to pick up the kills very quickly so your stacks come piling in within a few minutes.
Firstly, lets cover her Passive ability.
Jing Wei's passive acts as a hastey way to get yourself into position, allowing you to be very defensive or aggressive. I have found two ways of using this;
1) Recall to finish the purchase of an item and get back into lane, or to a buff camp.
2) Use the ability to get behind the enemy and use your ultimate to gank the enemy. This allows you to deal high damage at later stages of your game and follow the enemy using the small dash after the damage is done.
Persistant Gust seems to lack a little in power and can also be used in one of two ways;
1) Place the aoe infront of an enemy to get them closer to you, allowing you to do serious damage through basic attacks.
2) As an escape, through this ability, your dash range in increased. For early game, this can be used very well as a defensive move, letting you direct your dash away from the enemy following you and being thrown in the air in a diffirent direction.
Explosive Bolts is by far your most damaging ability late game, buffing your basic attack damage and allowing you to do aoe damage with basics for three attacks.
Agility is great, as is any dash in the game, allowing you to get away from an enemy, or indeed as a way to breach the gap between you. Best used along side Persistant Gust.
Air Strike does appear to do little damage in comparison to other ultimates in the game, though this is a multi-functional ultimate. Using your passive ability to get behind the enemy and deal the damage followed by chasing the enemy with your team is a great way to use this ability.
Thank you all for reading, good luck and I will see you in game!
