Egyptian Goddess Of Magic

When Isis was born, she was a Goddess. When she was married, she became a Queen. But a legendary journey to resurrect her murdered husband would make her a savior.

From the God of Earth and Goddess of Sky, Isis was born, and she was a Goddess in her own right, loved by wealthy and poor alike, champion to sinners and slaves, artisans and aristocrats. She commanded the force of magic, for she knew the True Names of many things. For in the True Names lie true power.

Isis and her husband Osiris ruled Egypt, symbols of order and justice, and led their kingdom to true prosperity. But Osiris had a brother, Set, who harbored jealousy and malice, and sought to usurp his throne. For him, murder alone was not enough. Set hacked Osiris to pieces and cast them across Egypt.

Fleeing Set’s wrath, Isis traveled the land in secret, gathering the remains of her husband. Meanwhile, Set’s rule plunged the land into chaos incarnate, and all seemed truly lost. Unable to locate a final piece, Isis could wait no longer and summoned the potent powers of her magic to reassemble her husband and give him new life. That night, their love became a child, Horus, who would avenge his father and cast evil Set out of Egypt.

Her bravery, tenacity, her skill and love drove Isis to save Egypt and become the mother of all Pharaohs. Long has she prayed that chaos would never again rise to threaten the rule of order and prosperity, but peaceful days are at an end. This time, it may not be her husband torn asunder, but all the world, and even the Goddess of Magic may not have the power to reassemble it from oblivion.

Skills

Passive : Funeral Rites
HP5: 2 HP5 per stack
MP5: 2 MP5 per stack

Whenever an enemy dies near Isis, she gains one stack(Max 10 stacks). Each of Isis's stacks gives Isis and her allies +2HP5 and +2MP5. When Isis dies she loses all of her stacks.

Tips: This gives Isis a great sustain advantage. This is extremely helpful early game. This skill is outstanding in Assault.

Skill 1: Wing Gust
Damage: 35/55/75/95/115 (+40% of your magical power)
Cost: 80/85/90/95/100 mana
Cooldown: 10 seconds

Isis will shoot 4 projectile, while doing so she gains 25% movement speed and is immune to roots and knockbacks. Though this is her main DPSing skill, most people overlooks the second half of this ability. Being immune to roots and knock-backs. Isis can clear traps laid by .

Tips: Note that this ability can pass through walls! Try your best to hit all four projectile for maximum damage. This is a great follow up after .

Skill 2: Spirit Ball
Damage: 70/110/150/190/230 (+70% of your magical power)
Cost: 70/80/90/100/110 mana
Stun: 1 second
Cooldown: 10 seconds

This move makes Isis extremely powerful. This is Isis's strongest CC skill. This skill can be used to stun enemies inside of Isis's ult, and is also used to set up her Winged Gust. Spirit ball gives Isis strong team fight capability. A maxed ranged Spirit ball with has one shot potential.

Tips: Note that this ability can pass through walls! The further the rage the higher the damage! This skill is your main cc skill and also a great initializing skill. This is a great follow up after

Skill 3: Dispel Magic
Slow: 35%
Magical Protection / Debuff: 10/15/20/25/30%
Silence: 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2s
Debuff Duration: 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5s
Cost: 80/85/90/95/100 mana
Cooldown: 18 seconds

This ability sliences enemies and also slows them. Great ability to keep gods from jumping out of your Ult. Follow up with a if you land this ability. This ability also steals your opponent's magical protection as a bonus.

Tips: This ability is like a soft penetration buff. It can also be used to interrupt gods with channeling skills. Example: Searing Flames, Shadow Lock, and Berserker Barrage.

Skill 4: Circle Of Protection
Damage: 160/200/240/280/320 (+50% of your magical power)
Healing: 80/100/120/140/160 (+25% of your magical power)
Max Charge Dmg/Heal Scale: 1.5/2/2.5/3/3.5x
Damage Reduction: 15%
Cooldown: 90 seconds
Cost: 80/90/100/110/120 mana

This is a very powerful ult that many people underestimates. When fully charged this ability does catastrophic damage. This ability is fantastic in team fights, fire giants, and seige juggernauts.

Tips: Popping this ability instantly can be used to secure a kill on a fleeing enemy. Toss out this ability when ganking and follow up with as much CC and Damage as possible. This ability is great when paired with to counter ganks.

Knowing your weakness can help you deal with different type of situations. Isis has the ability can be make or break a team fight. Make sure you use her skills wisely.

Items

Starter

Soulstone

An incredible item for Isis. Due to Isis's incredible ability to secure first blood, Soulstone is my preferred starter item. The +30 Magic attack after 5 stack, and the MP5 is fantastic for early start. It's like this item was made for Isis!

The shoe dilemma

Isis is very strong early game, so grabbing make it extremely easy for her to get first blood. Isis however, also relies heavily on her abilities. Grabbing will make you slightly weaker, but it will also make you a vital asset to your team.

Midgame/Farming Phase

Warlock's Sash

Conquest: Isis's weakpoint is her midgame. Take advantage of the "farming phase" and build Warlock's Sash. Warlock's Sash is an extremely powerful item when fully maxed out. It is a vital item to sustain Isis.

Joust / Seige: In these two modes, you wont be alone in your lane. Take advantage of this and build Warlock's Sash as soon as possible. In Seige you can pick up Golden Sash as soon as the match start. In Joust if your team has another pusher, you could pick up Golden Sash as a starter. If you are the only pusher grab as your starter.

Core Items:

is a vital item for Isis. Isis is very reliant on her abilities. This item enhances your role as a crowd control by letting you dish out your and more often.

is a staple for every mage. It has a great ability, gives a tremendous amount of magic attack, and some bonus MP5. Simply a must have for all mages.

works great for Isis. Not only does this item give a tremendous amount of magic attack, the ability on this item is great! When being ganked, pop out the lower your hp, the higher healing and damage will do.

is fantastic for her. Each time Isis lands an ability her target loses magical defense, a lot of magical defense. Each time hits a target, they will lose 10 magical defense and 10% magical defense. Awesome way to burn down those tanks!

Final Picks

gives a large amount of HP. If you feel like you need more hp by late game, grab this item. This item also works great with

is a very powerful item. With it's ability and a maxed ranged it can almost one shot a mage or adc. If you feel the need to dish out more damage, pick up this item.

is a great item for crowd control, this will slow down your target and make you land your easily. The HP and MP on this item is also a great bonus.

Situational Items:

These items are used to counter different type of gods. Depending on what god you are paired with, replace one of your final picks with these counter items. These items can make or break a match.

Crowed Control Counter

Magi's Blessing

These item will make you less appealing for gods like or to pick on. will prevent you from being cced for 3 seconds. Great for countering gods like / / .

Healing Counter

These item will neuter gods like and . can also be used to make ultimate worthless.

Basic Attack Counter

These items will make basic attack gods like and think twice about ganking you. With and together, you reflect 60% of the damage you receive back at them. works great with Isis's due to the fact that reflects damage before mitigation.
With the buff, this item is now a game changer. This item will absorb one crit from any basic attack every 15 seconds, and it also will increase your magical power by 40. This is a great item to prevent many assassins from one-shotting you.

Combos

Zoning/Poke

Start off by using to lower your enemy's protection, follow up with a to stun them, then use for more damage.

Ganking

When ganking throw out if your enemy has an escape use while they're slowed keep them inside your ult with a and finally hit them with as many times as you can. Whenever they're almost out of your ULT range, press your ult button again to pop it dealing damage and healing your self and your allies.

Chasing

Although it's unsafe to chase enemies, we feel the need to do it sometimes. Here's the rotation to secure the kill on a fleeing enemy. Only use when the opponent health is extremely low. An uncharged will not do much damage, but it is fantastic for securing kills on a fleeing enemy that's about to die.

Game Modes

Arena: In Arena your job is crowd control. Toss out as many and as possible. Whenever a Seige pops up, or there's a large group fight, toss out . Remember your goal in Area is crowd control, initiate with a stun and your fellow teammate will follow up with an attack.

Conquest: Isis has great lane clear in conquest. With soulstone she will have great first blood potential. Isis can out push many gods in conquest. Take advantage of this and be aggressive. Isis works best with an aggressive early game. During the farming phase, spend time to farm stacks for your warlock's sash. When in a teamfight, Isis's role is crowd control, just like in arena. as much as possible and your teammates will follow up with an attack. Drop whenever contesting fire giants and gold fury, it works best in large team fights.

Seige: In seige you will have a partner so start off by picking golden sash and some hp/mana potions. Focus on building warlock's sash as soon as possible for maximum sustain. Isis is great for zoning other gods, remember this when you're farming. In seige work with your partner in order to secure kills. Your once again will work best when there's a seige.

Joust: When doing joust, if there's another pusher on your team then start off with golden sash and go for the mana buff. If you're the only pusher then start off with soulstone and build warlock's sash after. Work with your team to secure kills, remember your stuns and silence are a great initiator.

Assault: Isis's passive is amazing in Assault. It will consistantly give HP5 and MP5 to everyone around you. Try to stay alive as soon as possible. Pick up Soulstone first Mana sustain. If the opposing team has 4+ Physical, then build the anti-physical mage build. If the opposing team has 4+ magical, then build the anti-magical mage build. Isis's and are vital in here so dont waste it! Please remember always always build in assault!

Clash:This game mode is currently being tested on PTS!! Building stacks/sustain is not recommended since you will be interrupted consistently due to team fights. Start off by grabbing for a huge power boost and a soft HP sustain. Team fight is core in this conquest/arena oriented game mode. In this mode your main role is to clear waves and CC! Hug tower and clear waves if you're defending by yourself. Toss out as many CC as possible when engaging in team fights.

Is it worth Soul Reaver over Spear of Magus?

Also what about Book of Thoth over Warlock's Sash?

Love the guild +1

Feel free to tweak the builds and make it your own. :)

Imo, Book of Thoth can reaplce Warlock Sash if you are confident in your ability to survive. Spear of magus can be picked earlier if you need more penetration or would like to do more damage.

Spear Of Magnus can also be replaced with Soul Reaver if you like. A full ranged Spirit Ball with Soul Reaver passive has potential to 1HKO a mage or an ADC. Soul Reaver should only be picked up late game.

Good luck and thanks for the feedback!

IMO, Vampiric Shroud would work better with your starter build for Conquest

Why ? Cuz you'll already have Tiny Trinket for lifesteal, which means you can buy 2 Mana Potions, instead of one, which can secure a kill/assist.

outside from that, the guide is pretty simple for someone new to understand and is out of order. Pros/Cons should be right after the introduction " Egyptian Goddess of Magic "

Nice job ! +1

I've added a section explaining the item choice. This should give new players some insight into why they should pick an item for Isis. :)
