Introduction

So in order to begin this guide there are a few things you must know about solo.
1) Solo is mainly for warriors but other gods can also fill this role that I will cover
2) That's actually it...

So after that amazing Segway it's time to get into the good stuff, the art of the solo lane!

The Normal

I'm going to briefly go over what you normally do in solo lane. FARM. Farm up as much as possibly and safely as possible. The typical build right now is bluestone (for clear) and boots 1 follow by 4 hp pots and 4 mana/multi potions (depends on your god). For auto attack based gods (i.e. Bellona, Amaterasu, etc.) you'd want to start deaths toll over bluestone. You start with your jungler and you clear 2 camps, if you do 3 you will miss minions and that ain't good. The best thing you can do is get to level 5 before your opponent. If you're playing correctly or have an advantage use it! Aggress, don't be a little wuss. Most gods have a great level 5 capability and if they aren't level 5 you're in great shape. Usually once you can finish boots (warrior tabi usually) you should head to base and teleport back (NOTE: teleport is optionally but recommended on most solo laners). As solo laner you should make sure you clear wave and poke the enemy at the same time, without taking much poke in return. Do this and then maybe clear a camp or look to invade if you have a good lead. Make sure to start rotating once you have won your lane. If someone is just sitting under tower you can either rotate and force them to stay in lane or clear or you can stale the wave. Staling the wave means you don't attack it so your minions kill the other minions and the other person is too far away to receive awards (gold and xp). This will force the jungler to rotate or the solo laner will be dominated. That's pretty much it for solo, just rotate at certain points and work on your positioning to outbox your opponent.

Other gods in Solo

So you don't like the whole warrior getup now do you? Well don't fear because almost any god if not all can be played in solo, just need to know how the god works. For instance, playing Loki in solo is different than playing Hercules. With Loki you're more focused on pushing and you stay back till you can max out your decoy, where as with Hercules you already have great clear and great aggression early game. Just know what the other person can do and make sure to WARD. WARDING is a huge key and it will stop rotations or you'll be notified of them and be more prepared. So key things you can learn to be a better solo laner from this guide:
1) Make sure to ward so you can turn ganks around!
2) Make sure to know what the other god can do and know what you can do, know your strengths and weaknesses
3) Make sure you counter build your opponent, if you're against a magical god don't build physical protection before magical protection!
4) Know when and how to rotate to help your team
5) Know how to properly farm your lane and take control of your jungle

Great now you can possibly be successful in solo lane! Good luck :D

The Build

Ok so the god build was an example so I chose one of my favorite solo laners to show a typical solo lane build, but remember there is no "solid" build in solo as you pretty much just counter build your opponents, but I wanted to give an example so there you go. Experiment with some builds and see what you can do
