well hello there, fellow Thanatos player!

so if you've come here, that means you want to learn how to be a good jungler as Thanatos and never die. as well as being able to deal massive damage. well you've come to the right place. here i will tell you what i try to do as Thanatos and how i play him. I hope you enjoy!

only use this build if you are planing on waiting for your time to strike, dont just charge into fights. you have massive life steal and damage, but you still don't have a ton of health

i hope you enjoy the guide

and this is my first guide so don't be too harsh

and remember:

DON'T USE YOUR ULTIMATE IF IT WILL GET YOU KILLED. its never worth it, i have found out

Items (explanations)

now, the reason i buy those items in that order is simple: i don't want to die. some people would argue that getting soul eater is a pointless item because Thanatos already has good lifesteal abilities. well that is true, but i think that getting the extra health, as well as the power is a very important thing. and remember, this is just my opinion of how to play Thanatos.

i always think that Bumbas is something you always start with as a jungler, just because it keeps you alive.

HoG and red pot are a must as well for the same reasons.

the ninja tabi are also very important because of the extra movement speed and attack speed which is very important to a jungler. and the physical power doesnt hurt either. plus the passive is really good too.

as for Asi, i think that lots of people will disagree as well with this but i choose it because it gives you everything a jungler (in my opinion) needs: attack speed, lifesteal, and penetration. plus the passive helps you alot if you are trying to get a little health in a team fight.

now as soon as you get rage and deathbringer, you will destroy. remember to only buy deathbringer in its second stage because its first stage is almost worthless.

you would not believe how fast you attack and how much health you can gain with this build. if you run even a little low on health in a fight, just go to any jungle camp and you will have full health almost instantly.

remember, this is a guide for Thanatos in my opinion

Jungling

now, the way i jungle is a little weird. I tend to go to the mid XP camp, then to the red buff, then closer XP, then go to the other side and get XP and help my laner if i can and then repeat. and depending on the laner, i will get the mana buff for them. that's just the way i jungle, i think its the better way to lane because when you go around to each side you can still check on your laner and kill some minions and maybe get a gank. you will mostly want to jungle in the beginning just until you get up a few levels. BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN DON'T HELP TEAMMATES. if your laner needs help, then go help him.

and just use your 3 to take care of most camps. and then maybe your 1 if needed, because remember, it does heal you on hit. and don't forget you also have hand of the gods.

Pros / Cons

PROS:
at lvl 20, absolutely destroys and is almost impossible to kill (if you don't over extend)

you get TONS of health back from jungle camps, which means any time you need health you can go to a camp and get it

extremely good at killing people trying to get away (which is why you max out scent of death sooner)

CONS:
VERY SQUISHY (even though you have lots of lifesteal, you still cant just charge into team fights)

sort of ability dependant (depending on how many enemies are in the area and the enemy)

not very strong early game

well, that's all

i hope you all enjoyed reading my guide. and just remember, this is my way of playing Thanatos. this is a build if you really like life steal and doing a lot of damage. and this is my first guide so don't be too harsh please.

thanks for reading!

Bumba's isn't a good option for Thanatos, per me at least. I would prefer death's toll as a starting item. Your lifesteal as said above doesn't give you as much raw power as other items would. Grammar is bad, looks unattractive, and a bad guide overall. Sorry, but a downvote for me.

All I can say is... everything above + bad grammar.

1) Soul eater is very meh on him. Sure the health is nice, but it doesn't provide enough raw stats. This would yield a bruiser Thanatos which isn't good, as he NEEDS that burst damage to QUICKLY get kills for his passive to yield heavy healing in teamfights.

2) That skill order..please decide which skill is best and base your skill order on priority rankings. You do NOT want to stagger skills like that. For most every situation, there is one certainly right skill to max, and the others fall behind. No exceptions - the most you will do is stutter your 2nd and 3rd skills, but there is ALWAYS one to max first.

3) On Thana, I'd suggest SOMEWHERE to get either a Frostbound Hammer, Fatalis, or something with speed. He has heavy hitting spells, but past that he's 100% an auto attacker with his Scent of Death. You have Asi which gives 0 damage, so it's an AA item, and so is Qin's Sais. You need some kind of mobility to make use of your auto attacks.

4) I don't really see how this is a guide to never die as him. Your best section is your items (which I'd like you to reconsider), but past that you go over briefly how to clear camps, and that's it. Try to explain what to do in ganks, what to do in teamfights, and overall...how to play him. Can't make a guide on how to never die without explaining how to never die ;)

5) Not a necessity, but since this is for people, try to make it easy to read. Add in BB coding, and organize your thoughts. Spend time on grammar and punctuation. Make a guide the BEST you can - this represents you as an individual. You want to seem professional :)
