Hercules rips a huge boulder from the ground. Throwing the boulder does damage where the boulder lands. The boulder continues rolling, doing the same damage to all enemies in its path. Subsequent hits on the same enemy do 50% less damage per hit. Hercules is immune to crowd control while casting.

Introduction

Hi my name is Divios. Hercules is arguably my favorite god in smite and I have played about 200 games with him. I like to believe I play at quite a high level in solo lane and would like to teach people how I do it. As well as getting better wherever I can possible.

Summary

With the build I posted above it allows you to do many things. You are super tanky and do decent damage, Mystical Mark will help mid game harass and minion clear as well as doing free damage in a team fight. Meditation will help you sustain a lane since Hercules doesn't have the most mana efficient clear early on. Hand of the gods for securing objectives of course and even early game clearing before you Driving Strike can do it on it's own. With this build you will have over 3000 health easily as well as dishing out around 200 damage per hit.

Skills

Driving Strike - This ability is a great wave clear which is why you max it first. At rank 4 it will instantly kill archers and put melee minions at 1 auto from death. The Driving Strike, Excavate can get you easy kills if you harass effectively and help you win your lane.

Earthbreaker - This ability helps Hercules get harass very well in lane especially when you combo it with his Driving Strike. This ability though doesn't do great damage and is somewhat hard to hit so max this last.

Mitigate Wounds - This is arguably what make Herc who he is, it allows for amazing team fight sustain when used at the right moment. When using this ability you must remember to think 2 steps ahead. If you think they are about to blow a ton of damage, use it.

Excavate - This Ultimate ability is massive in team fights, so try your hardest to have it off cooldown during one. Always look to see if you can bounce it off a wall after hitting someone so you can get additional damage out,

Pros / Cons

Pros:
- Hercules has great sustain with his Mitigate Wounds.
- His Driving Strike does massive damage and stuns.
- Very good damage from his abilities.
- Very good at baiting abilities with his Mitigate Wounds.

Cons:
- Have to be careful early since his Driving Strike cant clear until level 6-7.
- His pull isn't as reliable as other pulls
- His wave clear is also his only real escape.

Team Fights

In a team fight Hercules main job is to jump on a carry, whether it be a mage like Poseidon or Agni, a ranged ad like Apollo, Neith or even a jungler like Thor and Hun Batz just make their day as hard as possible. Stun them, auto attack them and heal their damage, just try to make then not able to get their damage out. This is why Mystical Mark is so good. Everyone around you takes damage even if your not hitting them.

Counter Play

Hercules can counter quite a few good solo lanes just with the fact that his 3 can make you nearly invincible unless burst down in less then 4 seconds.

Who he counters: (Want to face in lane)

Loki - A new meta where Loki just spams his decoy all game and gets Heartseeker stacks, the way to beat this guy is to harass him whenever he comes to decoy your wave, whether it be Earthbreaker, Driving Strike or just Driving Strike you can mess his day up bad.

Guan Yu - Plain and simple everytime he goes to use Taolu Assault on you just Driving Strike him back to where he belongs, behind his minions.

Hel - As Hercules you can kill a Hel very easily. She will out push you but you can easily turn it with a Earthbreaker into Driving Strike. When you get lvl 5 you can just Driving Strike into Excavate and Hel will die with a few basic attacks.

Who counters him: (do not want to fight in lane)

Sobek - With Sobek you need to be really careful since he has lost of cc and can reduce your healing if he decides to burst you, Sobek clears very fast but also uses a lot of mana in the process.

Vamana - He can clear instantly with his 3 and will beat you 1 v 1 almost everytime if he has his ultimate. With Vamana and his fast clear combined with good harass he is a very difficult opponent for Hercules.
