Intro

Hebo is a mage. He hurts a lot. This is my usual build for this god, and I have him at mastery 7 right now. He Bo is a glass cannon with a lot of burst, but more importantly, very short cooldowns. His passive increases Hebo's magical power based on how much you've been spamming his abilities. He Bo was literally designed to spam damage.

Early Game

Buy a Vampiric Shroud for the early game sustain, and then purchase the first level of bancrofts. i think its called tiny trinket. buy 2 mana pots and 1 health pot and be on your way.

Hebo's clear is okay, but especially early his real potential lies in his ability to harass the enemy god, even when they are turtling in their tower.

clear mid harpies and lane, harassing the enemy when you can, and make sure to back before the mid harpies come back up. For the initial laning phase you want to auto attack the melee minions and water cannon them. if you can manage it, try to get the archers and melee in the same water cannon, but usually this is a risky operation that puts you at risk of taking too much damage. I recommend spamming your 1 on the melee, auto attack till they die, then either spout the archers or water cannon them again. until you are level 3, you will need to spam all your abilities on cd in order to clear the wave. But thats why you bought 2 mana pots!

Do not underestimate the amount of damage you can dish out in a small period of time with hebo. Its sometimes more advantageous for you to turn and fight than run away as you may end up killing the enemy god. the deadliest combo is: 2 (Atlas) to get close fast and trigger your passive into a 3 (spout) into a 1 (cannon) into a 4 (tidal wave ulti with max passive stacks) into a 1 (cannon) and then 2 again to rush away, using your 1 or 3 if need be to disrupt any chase.

to round out the early game guide - make sure after your first or second back you start buying wards at after every teleport back. junglers love to gank mages with poor mobility, and hebo is one of those. By having the vision to know when the jungler is coming in, you can position yourself so that you can ult through them, blast them, and postentialy get a double kill. wards OP.

Mid Game

if you have farmed and ballooned into the hebo planet that you so often see in games, then the biggest piece of advice i have is beware your hubris. Even though you may be a planet dishing out 900+ damage with a single waterspout, you are still a squishy glass cannon. you will always be a squishy glass cannon. Positioning is everything. For this reason i like to pick up combat blink depending on the enemy team comp so that I can port behind the enemy group, and ult through them back to my team, dishing out massive damage and trying not to die in the process.

The purchase of the breastplate is pretty important for hebo. it gives him a little more survavability, but more importantly the cdr is invaluable. You can substitute chronos pendant for this slot, but going 100% glass cannon leaves you all the more vulnerable to single-crit insta-death from an artemis or loki late game. you have been warned.

in general, though - mid game if you are ahead, try to roam around and help your teammates by destroying the unsuspecting enemy gods - just dont get too aggressive and be mindeful of your positioning since hebo is not very mobile.

Late Game

You are less useful now, and everyone is going to focus you. Hug the tanks and warriors and beefy things on your team, and damage anybody who is dumb enough to get too close by waterspouting them. If you are able to, you can sell your vampiric shroud and pick up a situational item. depending on how the game is going and how cheesy i am feeling, i might pick up a soul reaver. more often than not, though, i will probably grab a magis or something to keep me alive and useful during teamfights (bulwark, gem of isolation, etc.).

welp, hope this helps someone out there hoping to hebo it up.

just remember: in the beginning spam all of your abilities all of the time and don't you worry, you can poke people down and murder them very effectively early on. Late game , try to play a little safer and don't stray too far from your team. your mobility is terrible.

tl/dr: hebo hard. buy lots of damage and pen + spam abilities = vvgg

But what if things didn't turn out well...

But what if (heaven forbid) you get completely shut down as hebo. What do you do?

well the answer is farm. He bo can clear a jungle camp VERY quickly since he has such short cooldowns, so if you get shut down early game, do not fret. just farm farm farm and you will still do damage. not the crazy hebo-planet damage, but damage none the less. Hebo's spout (3) is really effective disruption so dont be afraid to help a teammate out by poking up that enemy thanatos or thor that just dove into tower range to try and get a kill.

I like the build. You should put your situational items and actives there, but other than that, it's good. The skill order is also good. The guide itself, however, is too much of a wall of text. I recommend using bb-coding (guide to coding) to help with that.

In addition, you are also missing some important sections. A Pros / Cons, Skills, and Items sections are all needed to make a good guide. A Match-ups section is also recommended, but not a necessity. I would transfer some of your game-play info to those sections, and then proceed to go more in-depth with He Bo's play-style (combos, roaming phase, etc.).

I would give this guide a 6.5/10. The guide is decent, but it needs to be re-organized, and you should work on its aesthetics.
