Amaterasu is a great warrior for 3v3 joust, she is tanky and has a lot of utility.
How to play:
early on you can be aggressive if the enemy team is not early game based or has too much CC they could use, how ever you have to keep an eye on your mana as she runs out of it quickly. Let your team mates kill the minions to save some MP or, if possible, get the blue buff.
At Level 5, use your ultimate. The low cooldown allows for a lot of engages where the enemy team will have no purification or their own ultimate, but only do so when your mates are nearby.
Tips for laning:
Alway stay in your power stance, this helps to clear and poke the enemy. If you and you team took more damage then expected, then switch to speed, so will can heal and your team is able to escape faster.
If the enemy team has great range and AoE you might want to stay in speed so you are able to doge those attacks.
Starting with the Glowing Emerald and Boots grants you +100HP, 10HP5 and 6% movement speed. Especially the early sustain from the emerald will help throught the first minutes of the game. Building Stone of Gaia provides more and consistand healing than Mail of Renweal, in addition the Stone also gives MP5 which is great since mana is a big problem of Amaterasu.
Mantle of Discord helps you to stay in fights longer due the passive on this item as well as the 60 protections and the CDR. It might be ex*****ve with 3100 gold, but in Joust you gain more gold in a shorter time, so it won't take too long.
Frostbound Hammer is the CORE item on this warrior. It provides not only a good amount of health but will also give Amaterasu the ability to stick to her enemies, appling the passive and controlling those enemies. Gods with no mobility become easy prey when finished this item.
The Executioner grants the attack speed needed to apply the passive faster and also reducing their protections on top of it by a total of 32%. The rest of your team will now have an easier time killing the enmies in a teamfight.
With the Spirit Robe you will now have 25% CDR, which can be enough for Amaterasu. You will also gain 40 protections (100 from the hole build) and CC reduction as well as damage migation when CCed.
With this build you should be able to deal a good amount of damage while not dying during a fight.
You gain: 650HP, 25HP5, 10MP5, 18% Movement Speed, 95 Physical Power, 100 Protections, 25% CDR, 25% Attack Speed, 20% CC Reduction.
If you want to be a bit more tanky and increase your CDR, picking up Hide of the Urchin is a good choise as it brings also more health with it.
Sadly you won't get any CDR from this item so Jotunn's Wrath provides us with exactly that. Replace The Executioner with it, you still have some kind of penetration and even a bit mana.
This Build is more abiltiy based and grants you: 900HP, 10MP5, 150MP, 18% Movement Speed, 105 Physical Power, 10 Penetration, 30%CDR, 20% CC Reduction, 105 Protections (when Hide has 10 stacks)
Mail of Renewal provides you with additional CDR, while still granting a lot of HP/HP5. In the case that your team is very kill oriented/ efficiend (A team with e.g a Nox, Ymir, Ares) you will be rewarded with a 15% heal.
There are some negative aspects however. The first being, you have to kill or the passive is more or less useless since there are "only" 3 enemies and it is not a long way back to base.
An other negative aspect would be the lack of MP5. Amaterasu is mana hungry, so you have to be carefull with it, and don't waste too much of it through waveclear or missing your abilities.
This Bulid grants: 650HP, 10HP5, 18% Movement Speed, 95 Physical Power, 100 Protections, 35% CDR, 25% Attack Speed, 20% CC Reduction.
Qin's Sais: This item works well against gods/teams with alot of HP, and less protections. You won't attack as fast as with the Executioner but you'll hit a lot harder. Good choise when fighting together with two mages as they do not profit from the Executioner debuff.
Stone Cutting Sword: This item works a bit like the Executioner but will also give you up to 30 physical protections and some movement speed. However this item grants no attack speed, so we take longer for all 3 stacks but it works great with her passive. This item works well against immobile teams, and when you need to be a bit more tanky.
