Hades!
Alright! This guide will be focusing on a bruiser build for Hades. I run this exclusively on the solo lane on Conquest or as a hard pusher on Joust, i have tried this on both Siege and arena but for me this build is more effective on the first two game modes.
This build is focused on both damage and sustain kinda like a warrior like build but with magical damage (hence the title).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Guide still not finished i am having some test on college tomorrow so... Hopefully i will finish working on it while on my vacation period.
UPDATE:I apologize for not finishing the guide, it's been a though time at school and i haven't found the time to finish the guide. When i get some free time i'll put my work on it.
Now Hades is a Guardian so he is built in tough but in result he is really slow compared to other gods, athough, unlike other guardians, he has a really good sustain and damage.
Pros
NowHades kit is pretty straight foward, but learning the fuction of his passive and how it improves his other abilities is what really makes Hades a really good bruiser.
[*] Passive-Blight
Hades' normal staff attacks apply a Debuff to the enemy, called Blight. This Debuff stays on the target and can be refreshed. If an enemy is afflicted by Blight, each of Hades' other powers have an additional effect.
Really good and helpfull passive if when used properly, can go from an extra cc, slow, heal to even defense reduction.
[*] First ability-Death from below
Hades descends into the ground and erupts from below at his ground location, doing damage to all enemies in the area. If the enemy is Blighted, they are also Slowed. Applies Blight.
A jump pretty much. This can be used to travel through walls, also it's not explained on the ability but the slow is only added if the target already has a blight. Another important point on this one is that it aplies blight meaning you can chain it with any other of your abilities for secondary effect. Exemple: Death from below + Devour souls activates the healing from devour souls.
[*] Second ability-Shroud of darknes
Hades Silences all enemies in a cone in front of him. If the enemy is Blighted, they are also Feared. Applies Blight.
Really stright foward, stops your enemies from using abilites, actives and such, it also adds blight if it wasn't applied yet. Now if they did had a blight already apllied it adds fear, fear is a hard cc, that prevents the affected target from using abilities, basic attacks and actives also making them slowly walk away from the source of the cc.
[*] Third ability-Devour souls
Hades devours the souls of his enemies, dealing damage in a radius around him. If the enemy is Blighted, the enemy explodes dealing damage to nearby enemies and healing your allies. Enemy gods only take 50% of the damage from detonating Blights. Consumes Blight.
Your main source of sustain, the healing from this ability when enemies have Blight is really usefull through the entire match, adding the fact that this ability does more damage when enemies are blighted makes this ability your number 1 leveling priority.
[*] Ultimate-Pillar of agony
Hades calls to all enemy souls nearby, pulling them closer to him over time, doing damage every .5s for 4s. If the enemy is Blighted, their Protections are reduced. Hades also gains Protections for the duration.
Your ult itself is not as mighty as it is described for it's really easy to escape, but, when combined with your other abilities it can be a devastating finisher. Most of the time you pop your ult when you know the enemy has no escapes left or to secure a kill.
