HADES - KING OF THE UNDERWORLD

Introduction

______Hey guys, I'm Gerror and this is one of my first guides here at Smitefire; I hope that it pleases you to read it as much as it pleased me to write. I know there are plenty of HADES builds out there, so I'm aiming to create something like a recommended build for HADES.

______I have played a lot of games as HADES, and he was one of my my main champion at the beginning. As such, I believe my experience with him is enough grounds for this guide to be taken seriously.

______HADES is good for those who have just started playing Smite, and of course absolute pros will pwn with him. I'll warn you now, my guide is pretty short. I hope you enjoy it, but please don't complain about the length - the length of the guide isn't a reason to downvote :)

______Welcome to "HADES - KING OF THE UNDERWORLD" - hopefully it'll help you win some games.

Skills

Blight
Key Bind: Passive

Key Bind: Passive

Hade's normal staff attacks apply a debuff to the enemy, called Blight. This debuff stays on the target for 5 seconds and can be refreshed. If an enemy is affected by Blight, each of Hades' other powers have an additional effect.
_________________________________________________________________________________________

Death From Below
Key Bind: 1

Hades descends into the ground and erupts from below at his ground location, doing 50 / 90 / 130 / 170 / 210 (+70% of your magical power) magical damage to all enemies in the area.

If the enemy is Blighted, they are slowed by 25/30/35/40/45% for 2 seconds. Applies Blight.

Cost: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 mana.

Cooldown: 12 s.
_________________________________________________________________________________________

Shroud of Darkness
Key Bind: 2

Hades silences all enemies in a cone in front of him for 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 s.

If the enemy is Blighted, they are also feared. Consumes Blight.

Cost: 80 mana.

Cooldown: 15 / 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 s.
_________________________________________________________________________________________

Devour Souls
Key Bind: 3

Hades devours the souls of his enemies in a radius around him, doing 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 (+60% of your magical power) magical damage.

If the enemy is Blighted, the enemy explodes, doing up to 20 damage to nearby enemies and healing your allies for 30/40/50/60/70 within 20 feet of the exploding target.

Cost: 65 / 75 / 85 / 95 / 105 mana.

Cooldown: 15 / 14 / 13 / 12 / 11 s.
_________________________________________________________________________________________

Pillar of Agony
Key Bind: 4

Hades calls to all enemy souls nearby, pulling them closer to him over time, doing 50 / 65 / 80 / 95 / 110 (+35% of your magical power) magical damage every .5 s for 4 s, additionally gaining 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 protection to all damage.

If the enemy is Blighted, their protections are reduced by 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30. Consumes Blight.

Cost: 100 mana.

Cooldown: 90 s.

Items

- I always grab Boots at start. Boots of the Magi is my choise here but you can also buy reinforced boots.

- This item is a Safe choise to everyone that is new to this game. HP, mana and magical power is good to have early on. Of course there are other mana and mp5 items that work good as well, but gem works best for me.

- Having this item allows you to almost always engage a team fight when it's passive is ready. You can charge in without being stunned or silenced.

- You probably could leave this item out or buy something else inted but i think it could be very helpful to increase your tankyness. Its passive reflect any physical damage you took by 25% wich is preatty good.

Mystical Mark
- When using your ultimate your enemies will be close to you, so this item combines perfectly with it.

- Even a tanky god like HADES can not deal damage without some magical penetration. The Void Stone combines tankyness and magical penetration in one item, making it very powerful on HADES. Especially with your ultimate and mystical mark its a really strong combination.

Closing Words

I hope you enjoyed my HADES guide. Pls rate and leave a comment. Let's win some games :D

There isn't much to this guide and I feel there isnt enough of the "Why I did this" factor. Not saying oh this guide sucks now because of it no no no no. Just saying think more do more be more. Sure you do not want to over do it but you also do not want to sell yourself short.

Other than that my only problem with what is there.
Gem of Isolation I feel is not something you need on Hades. There is better items to be a bit more damage. With his built in slow, fear and ult keeping a god in your attacks is not that difficult and the slow from Gem is a waste usually.

With that said tho, someone that stumbles apon this guide and uses this build will do fine with it. The guide is good even tho I am biased with this god and my guide of him. The fact that you put work into this guide and the items do work with Hades gets my +1

Pretty Short but the build is Decent and would work with most games/comp :3 But i have to agree with Asmoday on Gem partially, its not something i see on Hades often there better offensive MP5 or flat mana items, BUT gem is a SAFER choice for sustained laning and newer players. But then agian I'm kind of out there with my Hades build my early mana item is [Staff of Mana] before you bash me on it here's the reason, As Hades your constantly trying to get auto attacks in for passive blight stack before popping abilitys, with this you have no more mana problems PLUS a early game boost on dps. any way thats all i have to put in GJ +1
