Janus creates a portal in the world. If placed on a wall, the portal will create a passage through to the other side of the wall that Janus or any ally may use. The portal may be entered from either side, but closes after 1 use.

If placed on the ground, enemies and Janus will fall into the portal, being teleported into the air above it. Enemies take damage upon landing, and are considered banished during the fall.

Introduction

Welcome to my guide for Janus, God of Portals and Transitions!

My name is Muskana. I am a decent player i guess when it comes to Janus. So sense there is a lot of builds for him, but not a lot of Guides, i decided to make one. So here it is!

This is my 2nd smitefire guide, and I intend to update it, so feel free to comment things that should be added/edited.

Regardless, lets move on to Damagetown!!

Pros / Cons

Pros:
  • Intense amount of damage.
  • His Portal and Unstable Vortex combo is even more intense damage.
  • Decent waveclear. (If Unstable Vortex aimed correctly.
  • Portal Skill PERFECT for escapes for Janus or team mates.
  • Snipe enemies across the map with Through Space and Time (Ultimate) And use his ult to get to the battle you sniped.
  • Can basically sit in lane all game.
Cons:
  • Exrtemely Squishy. (Especially with this build)
  • Basic attacks are pretty garbage most of the game (Late game is around 100 a hit or so)
  • Once you get jumped hardcore your only hope is Portal to escape.
  • Completely ability based.
  • Vulnerable to slows without Sprint

It's really nice, though lacking information.

You should add a chapter for:

1. Items - Here you'll describe the items you picked and why the player should pick those over others.

2. Gameplay - Describing how to use the god, in this case Janus, could help a lot. For example: "When should you be entering the jungle?"

3. Conclusion - Sum up the various things you've described in short. This gives the guide a professional look and comes in handy for people who don't like to read much.

Other than that, nice guide. The BB-coding is very well done, regardless if it's a template you've used. Great job, keep working on this!
