Introduction

Cupid build

Items

I tend to keep these items as my core. I adjust accordingly with my last slot.. not always in that order however. If the team I am against is melee heavy and I find myself taking a lot of damage I may get a life/physical defense item 3rd and push my normal items back a slot.

For active items even though I always read not to do it I almost always get meditation. there is nothing worse than using 3 to close the gap and catch up to an almost dead god only to realize you don't have mana for 1 or 4. this is why meditation makes it on my list. also the people that say to just drop hearts and have your teammates grab them are living in another world.. no one grabs the damn hearts and if they do certainly not all 3. it ends up almost always costing you mana

Skills

Sorry not in game to go over this but basically
1>3>4>2
is the priority I stick with

Pros / Cons

Pros

high end game damage
quick lane clears
pushing lanes
initiating/finishing fights

Cons

early levels bad damage
to good?

Creeping / Jungling

laning

for creeps it depends on position. at the start of the game I try to push back the melee mobs if I can with auto attacks or somehow position one of the creeps in a way that when I use 1 it will explode and hit them all.

later in the game I might just hop into a lane and stand by the ranged creeps and have the melee come to me so they all get hit

jungling

I try to cover all bases being others typically don't so I am frequently in the jungle dropping wards and clearing camps so the other team can't get them. also cupid is pretty good at ganking especially if he has a speed buff. not much else to say basically just hit them with 1 and auto attack

Summary

early game is slow but really picks up toward the last few levels. from 15-20 you should be pretty much untouchable. you are pretty squishy but dish out a lot of damage in addition to having life steal that really helps keep you topped off.

quick note before I start. I basically just wrote up something quick because there isn't anything updated out there. this is what works for me, but I also wanted it to open up discussion and others opinions about what has worked for them. with that said..

you like everyone else saying med is trash.. doesn't make sense to me. if I don't have mana I feel pretty useless and unless you just sit and auto attack constantly or die a lot. you will need mana. this also frees you up to grab the damage or attack speed camps.

in my experience 2 is almost worthless.. you will have lifesteal that will replenish your life much better than running around collecting hearts. also 3 is not only an escape like many people use it but also a great damage buff. if I am going to gank someone from behind it is amazing! all that extra attack speed coming out of no where is awesome.

I will give you that providence as an active may be a poor choice and beads would be better. however I am rarely if ever positioning in such a way that it is a necessity. I play as a fairly defensive playing until late levels in the game. having the wards constantly active is an incredible help. this again is mostly personal preference due to playing with random players 90% of the time where no one uses wards.

This isn't really a guide, you have to add Pros and Cons, Game-play, etc.
