Introduction

Hello, Shaquisha here. This is my first guide ever! I decided to do a Chang'e guide because Chang'e is my main god and my first X God. I thought I would share my experiences with you and show that Chang'e is not just a support but a deadly opponent. Well enough about me, enjoy my guide! (Comments are accepted and tell me how you like it.)

Chang'e Faerie Of The Moon

(I decided to use Moonlight Love for the photo, looks so great.)

Chang'e is a wicked healer, but she is also a deadly opponent. With her short cooldowns and her great heals, she is a very important asset in any team.

Items

First we start of with Shoes Of Focus, giving us good movement speed, since that will be key to dodging attacks, while it also gives good cooldown reductions. Second we go to Book of Thoth, it is great to start stacking early, giving us that slight advantage against the enemy team. We move onto Bancrofts talon, great lifesteal to help sustain but also gives great magical power, that will be helpful in any team fight. Next we move onto Warlocks sash, stacking it will be helpful earlier in the game but is not required early game. It is more useful after Core but is still wanted early for that extra boost it does give. Chronos Pedant is not required early game, seeing as you already have good cdr in the early game with shoes of focus. Lastly we move to Rod of Tahuti, late game it will give us a huge boost in magical power, giving you that advantage in any team fight late game you might encounter. It also gives you 5MP5 and its passive in 25% magical power, which helps in any team fight.

Pros / Cons

Pros

    Mobile
    Great Late game
    strong heals

Cons

    weak early game
    anti heals is cancerous
    bad against most warriors

Team Work

Chang'e has great team work potential. Using Chang'e in a team fight can chang'e the whole game in many ways:

    Chang'e can heal low teammates.
Chang'e can gank, and use first ability or can use her ultimate to stun.
Chang'e can get wards without leaving the battle.
There are endless things that chang'e can do to help in team fights. Chang'e can change the whole team fight into one that ends well.

Opponents

Easy

    All mages
    Most assassins
    most hunters

Medium

    Loki
    Awilix
    Thanatos
    Xbalanque
    Cabrakan

Hard

    All warriors
    All guardians

End

Thanks for looking at my first guide, all thoughts are welcome and appreciated for future guides or changing this one. Thank you and have a fantastic day

I have some little problems with this Usual Build. First thing first is that you double stack. Yes if you are solo lane it is easy to get those stacks, but as a solo laner you can rotate to help any teamfights that can happen in mid lane. Or if you are starting the Gold Fury. I would get warlock's Sash since you are such a close-range mage and can get heavily poked.

You really do not need Bancroft's Talon on Chang'e since she has built in healing already. Maybe a Pythagoream's Piece if it is a Freya or Chronos as your adc, or Divine Ruin since your 3 also has antiheal on it, making it a pain for other healers.

You are lacking penetration in both builds, which can hurt your damage output, even against hunters, assassins and other mages. Spear of the Magus or Obsidian Shard are both ok for Chang'e respectively.

I would always get Rod of Asclepius since it offers her all the stats she wants, including extra healing for her and her teammates. For the tanky build I like spirit's robe since it can mitigate a ton of damage if they catch you without Moonlit Waltz.

The only thing I have to ask, as a Chang'e main myself, is this: If you know anti-healing is cancerous (not to mention cheap) for her health, and that she is bad 1v1 against 90% of the Warriors out there, why build/play her solo at all? 90% of solos in casual games are Warriors of some caliber, and even higher in ranked.

Not trying to say it's a horrible idea, but it doesn't seem that hard for a Warrior/Jungle gank to lose your team an entire Solo very quickly. I am sincerely asking, due to my knowledge of Conquest coming from ADC Rama and Support Chang'e POVs.

If the above question is too hard to answer legitimately, I would advise adding another build or two, as well as looking into some basic format coding to help it pop some. I do love me some Chang'e, and encourage you to not scrap the idea, but expand upon it, and flesh out other roles she is commonly associated with, to validate and encourage your Solo build.

Well you see, Chang'e doesn't need to go back to the fountain as often, making it easier for her to stay in lane and not losing gold unlike the other solo. Chang'e is really strong in the solo lane but you do have a point, most warriors would destroy her, you just got to dodge and be really associated with her build to bring her full potential. Thanks for your comment and I may or may not expand on my build to help with some newer solos.

When you're Odin and go against a Chang'e in solo lane... The Build looks good only thing I would do is change the item order like how you said it would be helpful if you build warlock sash sooner. I'd do boots, warlock sash, chronos' pendant, book of thoth, bancrofts talon, rod of tahuti.
