Daughter of Zues and Leta, twin sister of Apollo

Artemis is the goddess of chastity, virginity, the hunt, the moon, and the natural environment. She was born on the island of Ortygia (Delos), where Leto had found shelter after being hunted by the lawful wife of Zeus, Hera. As soon as Artemis was born, she helped her mother give birth to her twin brother, thereby becoming the protector of childbirth and labour. She asked her father to grant her eternal chastity and virginity, and never gave in to any potential lovers; devoted to hunting and nature, she rejected marriage and love.
She was the protector of nature and the hunt; both wild and tame animals were under her protection. She also protected the agriculture and animal herding.
Artemis appeared in a number of myths. In the myth of Actaeon, he was a hunting companion of Artemis; at some point, he saw the goddess naked bathing in a spring and tried to rape her. As a punishment, Artemis transformed him into a stag and his hounds killed him. In the myth of Orion which has various versions, Orion was also a hunting companion of Artemis and the only person to have won her heart. However, he was accidentally killed either by the goddess or by a scorpion which was sent by Gaea. In another legend, Callisto was one of the followers of Artemis and thus she had remained a virgin. Zeus, however, changing his form to resemble Artemis, managed to seduce and rape her, impregnating her. Callisto gave birth to Arcas, but later, she was transformed into a bear either by Hera or Artemis. Arcas almost killed his mother, but Zeus stopped him and placed Callisto in the heavens as a constellation. According to other sources, both Callisto and Arcas were turned into the Ursa Minor and the Ursa Major constellations.
Artemis Is also called Diana, Diana.

Zues's Beast Tamer

Build Description:

*WARNING* This is a build for players to test and have fun with.

I begin any match with Artemis buy purchasing my starter item, Death's Toll for the long games like Conquest, Siege (sometimes Joust).
(The first relic/ active I select is Sprint since Artemis lacks a good escape ability)

*Death's Toll is a nice starter item for Artemis giving her physical power and a health boost to start the game. Also each hit with a basic attack restores mana and health*

I go to the jungle and hit (XP) and (Attack Speed) camps. Then I go to a lane to kill some minions to get some experience to level up or gather more gold for items.

Once I have enough gold I go back to base to purchase Ninja Tabi.

*The Ninja Tabi add more power and boost attack speed and movement speed*

*With Artemis stay about mid range at all times with people. Unless you use Calydonian Boar and Vengeful Assault to hone in on a kill when an enemy is near death*
(Be very opportunistic with Hunters and be strategic)

The next item I purchase is my first offensive item, Qin's Sais. They add attack power and speed, all while adding extra damage when attacking other gods.

The next item is a core item that I use on all of my builds. I don't usually purchase it this early, but with Artemis I think the earlier the better. Hide of the Urchin offers health and mana bonuses coupled with the Physical and Magic protection are the best you can get this early on in a game with a Hunter.

I purchase Rage to add more power and add critical damage to start racking up the kills.

*I sell Death's Toll now in order to give me a gold boost so it takes less time to get my final defensive item in the game*

Around now you hit level 12 and will want to select Sunder as your second relic/ active.
(Tearing down an enemies defenses when you build for critical damage just eats opponents life bars)

So your final defensive item depends on the other team really but if they are more physical damage dealers then, go with Hide of the Nimean Lion. If the other team is more magic damage, then purchase Genji's Guard.

*Always dictate what the other team does in a game by defending against their strengths*
(Pay attention to the other teams builds to help you)

The final item I purchase to complete my build is a critical damage item. I decided to go against attack speed as Artemis is pretty quick as is. I choose Deathbringer for its passive as a late bonus for the end game time. (Passive: Critical strike damage increases by 40%)

*The Consumable items are completely optional. They are fillers if you have a evenly matched game where gold is in abundance and your build is complete*

I went more for critical damage with Artemis on this because I felt her attack speed was high enough that I didn't need to pour all of my items into boosting that up. (I am used to playing as Sun Wukong since he is may favorite god to play as, but this build works for me)

I agree with cryptomachus by adding in 2 defensive items you are surrendering much of your potential penetration or lifesteal that i value so dearly in my artemis builds! additionally my personal preference is not quins sais but the executioner instead for that extra attack speed and penetration. I if you are really concerned about defence i recommend only using hide of the urchin as that will give you plenty of health magic prot phys prot AND mana which can be very usefull.

Dude you have a thing on ruining up hunters. The same build you posted on your Ullr guide I also see here.
Hunters are late game assets that will "carry" the whole team to victory.By purchasing 2 defensives you hinter their ability to output their maximum damage potential.

And no wonder that you missleveling both hunters:On Ullr you max out 2 as also on Artemis, rendering them incapable to have mana sustain and to effectively clearing lanes.

Your Conquest start is so awkward too,I wonder how your teammates are letting you to get away with such play style, stealing the jungler's speed buff...

This itamization and Skill laveling is sooo wrong, more wrong than screwing your sister...

Nice artwork though!!!
(A positive comment at least,heh)

Hey thanks for the feedback. As I posted I am a casual player. This is a build that I use that works for me. You dont have to use it. I do appreciate the advise but as I said this is what I do and you should change it to how you play. This is just the way I play. Thanks
