Arachne can only have 3 Web traps or projectiles active at a time.

She may leap off the web to deal damage to all enemies in the target area and create a large web around the target area. The web area provides the same slow to enemies and benefit to Arachne as her Web Trail.

Arachne may activate Ability 1 and 2 while running on this web.

Method to my Madness

Now, I know what you're thinking when you see this build. Yes, it looks ridiculous, but it works very well for me. It can work well for you too. With this build, it's fits perfectly with how I like to play and how Arachne is. Very quick and damaging. In and out like nothing happened. Unfortunately, this is more of a mid to late game build. I find it fits perfectly with her as a jungler because it's quite powerful, and you can keep yourself alive for a long while to keep on roaming and provide support more often.

Now without further ado, allow me to explain the method to my madness.

Skills

Predator(Passive)
Arachne gains 1.5% physical damage for every 5% of a target's missing health
Arachne's passive is what makes her a great 1v1 fighter, especially with this build. You keep gaining health while in turn also getting stronger as you hit your opponent. Majority of the time, you will easily win these fights.


Venomous Bite(1st)
Next basic attack within 5 seconds infects the target dealing damage and healing Arachne every 0.5 seconds for 3 seconds
This ability is really what made me choose to use lifesteal on Arachne. The ability is very quick, so using it in the middle of a basic attack can give you the upper hand. It's also good cheese against a fleeing opponent.

Web(3rd)
Arachne shoots a line of web forward and is immune to slows and moves faster on the web line. Web also spawns a trap. Enemies who are hit by the trap are slowed by 25% and revealed to Arachne, a trail of web is left behind them as they attack the opponent. Arachne can have 2 traps active at a time that last 240 seconds
A mouthful of an ability! Incredibly useful in chasing down an opponent and initiating fights as well as a solid escape. You can get very creative with this ability and is essentially a built in Hastened Fatalis

Night Crawler(Ultimate)
Arachne flips upside down gaining movement speed and can dive down dealing damage to enemies in the area
A very solid ultimate. It's useful in chasing down to secure a kill and a very good escape as well. Arachne's ultimate is really just useful, nothing really special.

Items

Warrior Tabi
Early damage for the spider. Doesn't really need an explanation. It's not included in this build, but you can get away with using Ninja Tabi if you wanted to.


Jotunn's Wrath
I find this item to be essential for any assassin. Just a really solid item. Not many reasons you shouldn't take it.

Devourer's Gauntlet
Finally the explanation you've been waiting for. So just with Arachne being Arachne, you can get some easy kills quickly, and farming is no issue, which in turn allows you to stack this item rather quickly. You get the lifesteal which allows you to be out and about longer while being able to engage in multiple fights before recalling. Plus it gives you a nice boost in power.

Heartseeker
A very good item to have early on. The attack speed really gives you the upper hand most of the time and has high combo potential. Makes it a very good early-mid game item on Arachne.

Asi
This item is what is going to help keep you going. The bonus lifesteal is nice and the passive will keep you ahead in a fight. And with the penetration and attack speed, even more so.

Stone Cutting Sword
The cherry on top. Now you don't need to worry about the yellow buff as much. And with the passive on this item, again it helps you gain the upper hand in a fight. Plus the extra power boost is nice to have. All around a great item.

Replacement Items

All these items I would recommend you replace Heartseeker or Asi. Even Jotunn's Wrath if you think you don't need the extra mana.

Hydra's Lament
Really just a very good combo item. Slightly weaker power, but the cooldown can be helpful.


The Executioner
A good all around item. This is really the only item i'd say you can replace with Stone Cutting Sword if you're in a jam and just need an item. Sell if off later for the sword when you can.

Frostbound Hammer
I only really take this item in a game mode other than conquest. The extra health and the passive help you with being able to take on maybe two enemies and is helpful in a team fight.

Brawler's Beat Stick
Just for the extra penetration if you so desire. Not much else.

Shifter's Shield
Again, I only ever take this item in game modes other than conquest. Though you can take it in conquest if you do need the protection.

Relics and Consumables

Ward
If you're jungling, use 'em. Pretty straight forward. No reason you shouldn't have them.


SprintSprint
Again, more chasedown if you so wish it or an escape if you have no ultimate at the moment.I don't use it often, but it has its uses.

PurificationPurification
A stunned spider, is a dead spider. As squishy as Arachne is, don't get pinned, take this.

WrathWrath
This is actually the only god I have used this item on. It's just so useful on Arachne. Helps to escape if you so need to, but I don't recommend it for such.

Summary

Arachne became my favorite jungler very quickly. I know my build is odd, but to each their own. Anyways, Arachne is very fast. Doesn't hit hard, but she can hit fast. Quick in and out to secure a kill. Great 1v1 potential as well so she can easily hold down a lane as a substitute if an ally is down. And I don't know why, but I get exhausted playing her. Just a lot of fun and i'd say one of the best junglers in the game.
