Behind you! Loki arena and Conquest guide

This is a quick guide on how to play loki from my experience. I am a diamond loki main, and see too many lokis using builds and playstyles that annoy me, and decided to make a guide.

starters: The best items to start are morningstar, death's touch, and a mana pot. Morningstar lets you build into trancendence quicker and get those stacks ASAP. Death's touch lets you clear camps, and is better than bumba's because you won't be spending as much time in the jungle. At this point, you only have 50 gold left, and have to choose between a health and mana pot. I believe it's best to go with a mana pot, because as loki, you won't be spending much time in the front line, and you start with low mana.

The core is somewhat self explanatory. Trancendence gives you great damage and mana. Jotunn's gives you cdr, pen, and more damage. Hydra's gives you that sexy proc, and maxes out your cdr. Boots are a no-brainer.

for the last two items, it comes down to preference. You can go for a splitpush build, and go crusher to melt turrets. You can make sure none of those nasty healers can heal your DOT with the beatstick. Titan's bane for INSANE damage on your 3. Bloodthirster for a little barrier to get you out of a sticky situation. And finally, DB and malice for crits.

Nothing really to explain here.

Max ult, cuz it's good and does lots of damage.

Then 2, for waveclear and stacks.

3, for damage out the ***.

and finally, 1 last because it does less damage than 3.

-40% CDR
-Tons of armour pen
-reliable escapes

CONS
-squishy
-gets shut down by hard CC

Early game, do your normal jungle clear, then go straight to mid lane. This is where you will spend a lot of your time. Help with early clear, and go for a few kills if you can. Once you get your 3, go for some early ganks if possible.

Midgame, your main job is to assassinate and harass their backline. Camp that ADC. If anyone is isolated, boop them.

Late game, depending on your build, your main job is to either splitpush and/or take down isolated targets. You will be doing about a billion damage at this point, and can easily burst down solo targets if they try to stop you from pushing. You shred turrets, and your clone deals with waves, and can take turret aggro if necessary.

1 - BA - 3 - BA

this is the most basic combo, does 2 hydra procs, leaves a dot. use this combo mostly in teamfights, because it cripples or kills one of their team and takes them out of the fight. After this combo, book it.

4 - BA - 3 - BA

this is a good combo if you really want someone dead, and they are in a group of 2 or 3. It does a ton of damage, and leaves your 1 to escape.

1 - BA - 3 - BA, you can either use your ult at the start or finish of this combo, depending on your distance.

Best 1v1 combo. Does much damage. No escape left, though.




Here are a few advanced combos, if you're at this point, you should know when to use them.

(This one only works with full cdr)

1 - 3 - wait for your 3 to have less than a second left on cd - BA - 3 - BA

#2

2 - wait for them to step into it - 4 (stuns them in the 2 for extra damage) - BA - 3 - BA - 1 to escape if necessary
