Chapter Title

Simply put, this build gets the essentials of a quick escape assassin Bastet. Starting off Ninja Tabi followed with Transcendant. This allows for Bastet to gain some early on base camp clearing capability with mp stacks building to allow her longer field time. Next Jotuns wrath for CD, solid physical power, mp, and just enough physical penetration for the bulky enemies on the field. Next comes making Bastet nearly untouchable when escaping while giving her incredible attack speed and a bit of bulk. Heartseeker gives the first bit of movement with stacks to build damage quick via kills or even hit and run assists. Followed with Winged blade and Hastened Fatalis to finish off with a nice 35% cd, high physical damage, high attack speed, and enough speed to pair with Bastet's hit and run escapes. Active items that work well with this build include combat blink and hand of the gods for pouncing and then stunning. Beads rarely needed unless artemis, ares, and such are present on the opposing team.

DeanOMiite crit seemed to not fit bastet as well as many other assassins, she viable with almost anything though. Frostbound has been situational for me like when im in siege slowing for an odin to dive bomb. I may try your idea for mail of renewal seems interesting o:. thx for the advice ^_^

I only started playing Smite a few months ago, and have only started playing Conquest in the last 4 weeks or so. That being said, Bastet is my jam and I'm pretty confident in how to play her in the jungle. Couple thoughts on what I would do.

I would go Frostbound Hammer over Hastened Fatalis. The reason is that the health is nice (currently 400 on XBox but I think it's now 325 on PC?) but primarily that...if you're ganking an enemy, especially a squishy mid laner without easy escapes like Anubis or Poseidon, your teammates can be closing in on your target as well.

Crusher is an OK choice and certainly has its uses. I honestly haven't decided how I feel about it. If you plan on split pushing I say yes, get it, and get it early. But I find that when I successfully gank somebody and then push an objective I will likely have the support of a teammate, and if I don't I can just use my cat call so my cats can take the brunt of the aggro. Usually that's sufficient to take down an objective so, again, unless you plan on constantly split pushing, there might be something better for Bastet.

If I'm suggesting something besides Crusher then...what to do what to do? Situationally, I like to build either Shifter's Shield or Mail of Renewal. Shifter's shield is nice for it's passive, though I think at 2700 it's a little too expensive. Still though, an item that grants both defense and power is pretty awesome. Mail of renewal is nice because in team fights if I get somebody down to super low health, I can quickly exit the fight, let somebody else secure my kill, be healed by the passive, and get back in the fight. I wouldn't suggest getting both of these items though, you're a killer after all.

If those items don't suit your fancy, maybe some crit?

The other thing I do with Bastet that I don't see a lot of others doing is I grab TWO starter items. I begin with Bumba's Mask and then grab Blue Stone Pendant. I start out buying the Mask, 2 health pots, and 2 mana pots. That leaves me with 500 gold, and only 300 remaining for Blue Stone. I start by going with my solo laner to grab my speed buff, then help the solo get the mana buff, then if there's no obvious gsnk opportunity (maybe the enemy solo or mid has over extended or something) then I head back for my XP harpies, then recall for Blue Stone. While I have speed buff I don't care that I don't have boots, the Mask gives me sustain and healing in case I DO need the early gank, and Blue Stone all but guarantees a kill on almost any God of your choice between lvls 5 and 10. Hell, any gank where you might die, just send out your cats and they'll secure the kill for you.

So...those are my thoughts on Bastet. Good luck!

Elusyd i gave the crusher a try, it came pretty handy mid-late game took the tower and phoenix without issue.Teleport to ward is a new concept for me as i never used them but still figuring good placements for them now. Thanks for being so helpful ^_^. GameGeekFan im always feeling risky :3, and i do love the early game kills as bastet. Once i get her ult i pick off different lanes to help teamates push.

Heartseeker is only if you are feeling risky as hell, dont recommend it a whole ton.

Hydra's Lament has uses, but you cant really use its passive to its full extent. If you overextend yourself it could kill you.

Bastet is not for tower pushing anyway, you are an early game god. You could take full advantage of the ADC or squishy early game to snowball or make it harder for them to level.

If anything just gank duo lane early on, make sure to tell them you will be going to gank or it will be for naught.

No problem.. but you should really consider The Crusher as Bastet doesn't have any play really in late game team fights. This is where you will buy the teleport to wards and buying a couple of wards and split pushing towers/phoenixes. After knocking a tower/phoenix down, you force them to either shift to you, or allow yourself to jump in from behind and help out by slowly doing damage to them all at the same time and slowing them down. The Crusher also has great power and flat penetration which helps against the support and solo (assuming they pick a somewhat tank solo) and possibly even the other jungler if they decide to take Ymir or Athena. But you play how you like to play, just wanting to share some of my advice :)

Hmm i'll give your idea a try, so far the build above is what i've used in every mode I use bastet in as of recentley. No problems with it though I have been thinking of switching the ninja for warrior, bastet already swings fast enough as is with this build. My builds purpose over all was for quick team support with minimal risk. I dont run crusher as I never feel the need for it even with its great passive for towers. Thanks for commenting and giving me some incite.

You should most definitely buy Warrior Tabi on literally every physical god with the exception of Bellona imo. I don't believe Hastened Fatalis is a good pick as it doesn't help with physical power. I would much rather prefer The Crusher or Brawler's Beat Stick over that, as Bastet is meant for late game split-pushing monstrosities. I would also recommend taking out Winged Blade.. My typical build with Bastet would be Warrior Tabi/ Transcendence/ Jotunn's Wrath/ The Crusher/ Hydra's Lament/ Brawler's Beat Stick. If I don't feel like the game is very challenging or that I'm not going to die a lot, then I would buy Heartseeker before The Crusher, replacing Brawler's Beat Stick.

However, I typically only play Bastet in jungle conquest, which is what I'm assuming this build is for.
