Chapter Title

You want to start by getting golden sash and 3 potions. I usually will go with 1 health and 2 mana. You're then going to upgrade the golden sash to warlocks sash. I usually try to stay in lane until I have the 1300 gold to finish it. Warlocks sash is best when bought first so you can immediately start stacking and gaining more power and health. Then you're going to want to get shoes of focus. Shoes of focus are best because they give you mana, making you less reliant on mana potions, and cdr, which is always helpful. The reason I don't go with shoes of the magi is because they're really only good for the 10 penetration, but there are better ways to get that. Your next item can vary. If you're taking more physical damage than magical you're going to want to go into dynasty plate helm. This will give you some power, penetration, and physical protection. Alternately, if you know you will be taking a lot of critical hits, you could get shoes of the magi for the penetration and celestial legion helm for power, physical protection, and the anti-crit passive. If you're taking more magical damage than physical then get void stone for your third item for its power, magical protection, and penetration passive. If the enemy team has a strong healer you could also get pestilence for the health, magical protection, and anti-heal passive. If you get pestilence you could also consider getting shoes of the magi instead of shoes of focus if you're concerned about not having enough penetration. If you're taking an equal amount of physical and magical damage or feel like you need more health and/or mana you can go straight into hide of the urchin, but I recommend waiting to buy that as a fifth or sixth item. Your fourth item can also vary a lot. If you got dynasty plate helm or celestial legion helm as your third item, you're going to want to get void stone or as your fourth item, or pestilence if going against a healer. If you got void stone or pestilence as your third item you should get dynasty plate helm or celestial legion helm as your fourth item (Reminder: I would get dynasty plate helm with shoes of focus and get celestial legion helm with shoes of the magi and only if going against characters that are going to crit). Your fifth item can either be offensive or defensive depending on how the game is going at that point. If you have other tanky characters on your team I would recommend going for an offensive item. You could get get of isolation for more health, mana, power and passive slow, or you could go for a Lifesteal item. Any Lifesteal item is potentially good on Hades. If you got shoes of the magi you could get pythagorem's piece, which will make up for the get you would get from shoes of focus, and give nearby allies magical Lifesteal as well. If you need anti-heal and didn't get pestilence you can get divine ruin for its anti-heal passive. If you're looking for more power you can get Bancroft talon for its height power or polynomicon for its power and passive basic attack damage buff. If Your team is lacking in defence you can get another defensive item for your fifth item. If you want a purely defensive item it would be a good time to get hide of the urchin for its health, mana, and physical and magical defence. If you a defensive utility item you could get gem of isolation for its health, mana, power, and passive slow, or you could get ethereal staff for its power, health, mana, and addition passive power. If going tanky ethereal staff is a must have for its passive which convsets 2.5% of your health into power (2.5% might not a lot but it is. If you have 3000 health it would give you 75 power on top of the 30 power the item gives you). For your final item you again have a choice of getting an offensive or defensive item. You get any previously mention item or if you're ahead and/or have extra gold you could go for a luxury item such as rod of tahuti, spear of desolation, or mantel of discord. Remember that you always want to be buying and placing wards. In the early game it is a huge advantage to have wards around your lane to help spot potential ganks. In the very late game after finishing your build I would recount getting potions of magical power and elixrs of defence you can afford them.

A little side note, I am mastery 10 with Hades and he is most played god. Im,not great at the but I have don't exceptionally well with this build getting as many as 19 kills in a single match.
